lol, I had forgotten that there was actually something harder than DLTK. Would be interesting to see a TAS of Silo or something. Maybe some levels could be possible to beat on console too though.

Found an old controller with super-loose stick and played for a few hours. Wasn't too difficult once i figured out the strat but still kinda scary. My second run where i made it to the mainframe room.

Here's the strat i used:
Kill first guy with PP7, use rockets on the other 4 guards in beginning. Get sniper rifle, go into the long tunnel and stay close to the left wall, At the 90 degree turn, zoom in towards the tower and wait for the upcoming guy by the tower to see you. Go back and rocket him once he gets close. Move forward to the larger area while staying close to the right wall. Go behind the tower so the bunker guards can't see you, and rocket the guy on the left by the silver crates. Now move along the right wall and kill the brown crates guard with PP7 (he can sometimes move away from his position, if so do something else :p). When he's dead, go back to the tower and snipe the bunker guards heads, once their body armors is gone, run around and try to make them kill themselves, or just shoot a rocket at them.

Make sure to destroy all the brown crates with rockets, KF7 ammo is extremely important. Open the double gates to let the truck through but don't go out yourself (stay close to the second button). Once the truck has moved along a bit, snipe the green guard who runs for the alarm. Quickly close the gate again and wait a couple of seconds. Then shoot a rocket towards the button (the guard should be on the other side). Then open the gate and rocket the brown guy.

PP7 the green guy in the house through the window, he won't move. Shoot the general through the other window (there's a pretty precise angle where his head can be seen). If he runs after you, rocket him (his BA should already be gone). Do modem, shoot the lock, then shoot one or two rockets by the modem, one in the left corner, then back up a bit and shoot one to the left of the crates kind of. (not sure if this one matters).

Now quickly go to the lock-gate and enter the dam area. The reason for this is otherwise the guards in the mainframe room who didn't die won't be able to follow you (guards can't pathfind if Bond is on the other side of the lock-gate). Zoom in with the sniper toward first tower and wait for the green mainframe room guards to come out. Go back through the lock-gate and close it. When the guards are close enough, shoot them once with the sniper. They will stop completely and can no longer reach Bond. Try and make sure that all guards end up close to each other so you can rocket them all at once. Open the gate, shoot the rocket, quickly close it and back up.

Enter the dam-area again and lure the 2nd tower guard with the sniper. After a while, attract the 1st tower guard. Go back through the lock-gate and once again, stop them once they get close. Either use a rocket to kill both or simply snipe them in the head from behind the gate.

Go down the 1st tower, Stand as far away from the gate as possible and shoot the guard until he dies. He'll fire some rockets once his BA is gone but will only hit the gate. Once dead, move out and show yourself to the guy on the right. Quickly move back and close the gate. Wait a bit and see if he shows up. For every guard in the basement, there's a slight chance they can be lured by this. So just repeat the process until it works. Once he's lured, make sure you stand close to the gate so it can't open. The guard will get stuck and stop so you can spray his head with KF7 bullet until he dies. Do the same with the guards on the left (there's 2 or 3 who can see you there, so show yourself to both of them and hopefully one or both gets lured. Once dead, move further in and lure the next guards.

Once you get to a guard who's behind a corner to the right, just move up close to him and spray-and-pray. Usually works. Continue the process until you get to mainframe room. If you run out of ammo, you can go down the 3rd tower and find the stack of crates in the tunnel.

At the mainframe room, the guard walking around should be dead. Make sure by ducking and opening-closing the door repeatedly. Slowly move forward and check which guards are alive. For me, the guy just behind the corner was alive, so i moved back to the door, shot a rocket and closed the door. Another guy came running so i just shot a rocket at the door. The mainframe room should be cleared then so do the objective, destroy final alarms and finish.

Actually i didn't know any of this stuff until i started playing ^^ I remembered Jimbo (i think) mentioning the guards failed pathfinding at the lock-gate a while back and it turned out to be pretty useful. But that's pretty much it in terms of what i knew beforehand about the level and guards behaviours.

Dam is an oddball level in that the locked gate represents a huge invisible wall in the level. The guards can see you obviously, but refuse to actually chase after you if you close the gate. It takes some monster manipulating to get the green guards to cross the line and vice versa, but when they do, it's normal.

That's a good piece of knowledge to remember actually!

Also another run where i got to Ouromov and stupidly decided to run back halfway down the hallway because i thought i had forgotten the 4th plastique. But of course i hadn't and instead i ran straight into Ouromov's rocket :FailFish:

Did some emulator testing on Train and the level is actually totally doable. It's probably not even that hard, as long as you can handle the randomly spawned BA guards in the green cars.

At the start of the level, note the 4 boxes directly to your left. Duck, stay behind the 2 rightmost ones (right in the middle of the car), destroy the upper right one (make sure it's completely destroyed) then back up a bit and just wait. The guards will try to shoot at you but will almost certainly fail. Instead they'll blow themselves up, leaving only a single guard remaining most of the time. He can be tricky but just YOLO run toward him with watch laser and kill him.

Make sure there's no spawning guard coming from the 2nd car, if so, a rocket will kill him easily since he doesn't have BA. Then open the doors to the second car and quickly back up, duck and stay pretty far back and these guards will likely suicide as well. Once their dead, destroy the top right box in the middle of the second car and once again duck and stay in the middle.

With the first 2 cars done, the blue cars should be kind of easy since guards will die from rockets. For the green cars i guess regular DLTK strat or something. (rockets might work on some guys though).

When you get to Ouro, do the locks early like regular DLTK strat. I noticed though that there's probably a misconception about this part, since in Adam's run he tries to make sure he's not seen by Trev. This makes no difference whatsoever, you can stay in the door opening and get the "do come in" message, but nothing more will happen. So you can actually take out almost all the locks without triggering the timer. Just make sure you don't cross the line and enter the other car.

After entering, take out the remaining locks (should be like 4-5 left so it'll be super quick). When killing Ouro, make sure to stay on the left side of the car, behind the computer desk. Otherwise Trev might hit you with a rocket as you kill Ouro. Once Ouro is dead, you can run out immediately YOLO style, since the crate guards are very unlikely to hit you. (it's way more risky to try and kill them). Get to the safe spot and wait for timer to run out. It's possible to die as you finish the level but if you run out hugging the left wall, and then switch to the right side as soon as a rocket is fired, they're unlikely to hit you. Might wanna duck too once the fadeout has been triggered.

Train - Died halfway through the green cars  :nesquik:

First time i ever made it to the blue cars, so I basicly improvised the rest and got really far. A spawn guard got me when he survived an explosion (i didn't realize he had BA).

I can totally beat this level but it might take a while.

Also realized that you can use 2.x and shoot some guards in the 2nd car during the cinema, they will start shooting rockets and possibly suicide. Probably not very useful though since you'll make them suicide later anyway.

Would love to see some more videos of these runs  8) I've been playing 00Agent with Enemy Rockets and Dam is still kicking my ass. Only got some of the easier levels like Facility, Archives, Surface & Bunker 1 completed so far. More fun than speedrunning to be honest  ;D

First time where I actually managed to finish Train and i really thought it was gonna complete. Didn't even know it was possible to fail this way ^^

Also had a run where i got to the ending and was killed by Xenia's rocket as i was shooting Ouromov. This should never happen but Natalya seemed to be in a wierd position making the usual angle from behind the table impossible.

Nice 8) Never come across the opening doors from sidecars trick before, and didn't realise you could shoot out half of the floor before even entering the room. Always hated the Train level so I've rarely played it to be honest, will have to make a note about how many guards can spawn in each cart too - interesting info  :)

Natalya decided to screw me over by not completing A, so i was forced to wait forever and black hat guards killed me :(

Only 4 levels left now. Some thought on the remaining ones:

Streets: Played it for a while and obviously the beginning is easier than regular DLTK and the rest is exactly the same pretty much. Just gotta get lucky with the spawned guards...

Jungle: Xenia is a major problem here, i have absolutely no idea how to deal with her. 100ish PP7 shots to the head and a couple of well placed mines can kill her but that's obviously unlikely to be pulled off in a real run. Going back to the plane in the beginning and hiding is an option, but Natalya's rockets might not do enough damage and will likely kill Bond instead.

Caverns: Should be a fairly straightforward level except for BA guards. There's hardly any ammo in the level and PP7 will run out very quickly in the beginning. So gotta find a way to make it to the ammo room and hopefully that'll be enough. I guess you could slap some guards :p

Aztec: I tried this quite a bit and made it to the main room fairly easily. Jaws is obviously not an option as he has 500 BA and 500 health, so glass strat is pretty much necessary. Only problem with it is guards suiciding when they see Bond, it's possible to avoid it though but a bit tricky.

The major problem on Aztec is the silver crate guards in the main room. They all have BA and the ammo and weaponry you got is just not enough. Also there doesn't seem to be any way to make them suicide. Anyone got any ideas? I really wanna finish this level since it's the only fun one left :p

Why can't you just kill the Aztec crate guard with RL?

Could you just make a run to the hole, and take the long way around, and hopefully find a good way to lure and then ditch jaws. Thus avoiding the crate guards.

I didn't mean the ones in the beginning (those guys are easy, just jump down the pit and they'll suicide by shooting rockets at their own feet), i'm was talking about the ones in the rocket room, with the 4 drone guns.

It's ages since I was testing strats on normal Aztec DLTK but I remember finding a fairly reliable Jaws slapping strat that works on normal Aztec DLTK that could maybe work on Enemy Rockets too. You have to lure him into a narrow part of the level. On normal DLTK mode it works in the vents but on Enemy Rockets mode you would probably have to lure him up the ladder in the big drone gun room and force him to stand with his back to the wall. Now stand as close as you can while facing him and just slap him to death. It takes about 5 minutes of slapping to kill him though but if it's more reliable than the glass strat then it could be worth it. He can't hit you because his arms are too long and he can't move as you have him crushed up against the wall.

Can you get anywhere near the mainframe if you try it 00A style and just make a run for it? You could also try running across to the left side of the room when you first enter the room to lure the guards into firing on that side and then immediately cut diagonally back across to the right and head along the wall towards the mainframe. That might work better if you were able to kill the third guard across first as he's the one most likely to kill you.

Considering how easy the beginning is, i think glass strat is a better alternative (it's not that hard, you just need to move away kinda late so the rockets get past the mainframe while it's still open instead of hitting it, also i'm using 4 guards so success rate is quite high) than spending 5 minutes on jaws every time. I'd only consider that if i had a consistent strat for the ending. Also i really don't want to deal with random moonraker guys.

It might be possible to YOLO the ending but even if i'd get to the mainframe i think getting back might be an even bigger problem. I'll test it though.

Edit: Tested it on emulator and YOLO strat actually works suprisingly well. It might even be fairly consistent. So i guess Aztec is doable now :p
