Any form of literature offers many forms of parallels between it's world and the real world. A Song of Ice and Fire is a very popular novel series, authoured by George R. R. Martin, with many different characters each with deep, rich, fascinating characteristics. Which Eliters do you think have parallel characters in the Game of Thrones universe?
I'll start;
Comeasur : Joffrey Lannister/Baratheon - Universally hated, yet holds power he should not legally have due to corruption and bizarre sets of circumstances.
Ngamer : Walder Frey - Old and useless. Only holds power that his ancient name still bears. No real relevance but can still be an asshole and kill people every now and then.
Scott : Lord Petyr Baelish aka Littlefinger - Constantly plotting his way to the top. Very good politically and doesn't lead on to many his true intentions, but they are questionable at best.
Thiradell : Lord Varys - Believes himself to be "serving the realm" but in reality just fucks a lot of shit up in the process. Should just get out of the picture and go back to Pentos but is in too deep.
Dayle :
Infil : Grand Maester Pycelle - Old and wise, but relevance is dwindling with age. Still manages to associate himself with the right people.

Trent : Bolton Roose - The harshest, most dishonourable of men.
Matis : Ramsay Snow - Fucking insane and massively immature.
Goose : Daenerys Targaryen - Drama queen who acts like a 15 year old girl. Holds legions of power over many people, but essentially powerless where it matters.
Luke : Melisandre - Artistic, inspired, set on goals. Holds no regard when he has to fuck some shit up. His actions are almost magical at points.
Ace :
Lockwood : Ser Gregor Clegane (aka The Hound) - A great warrior and battler who has flipped sides away from the evil kingdoms towards a more righteous life.
Alex Anderson : Jojen Reed - Nice fellow with good and meaningful intentions, helping the right cause. Somewhat mysterious though.
Boss : Ser Berristan Selmy - Old boy but can still give it a go with the very best of them when he feels he must.

Monteith : Lord Rickard Karstark - Did something pretty dumb and was executed for it.
OHMSS : Prince Oberyn - Foreign, mysterious badass who is morally neutral and set in his own, decent but dubious way of doing things.
Wouter : Rhaegar Targaryen - Had potential to be one of the greatest of all time, but things simply did not work out for him.
Denis Lucid : Jaqen H'ghar - Mysterious as fuck and will probably never be seen from again.
Brandon Sanford : Hodor - Hodor.
