Hypothetical situation
« on: April 22, 2014, 04:22:32 am »
You are caravaning through a desert with other eliters including Karl and Luke.  As intelligent, well prepared individuals, you are stocked with hundreds of gallons of water your trusty camels are carrying, satellite phones to call for help, months worth of food and shelter, and any other necessity one might need for such an adventure.  You also have a durable laptop computer with satellite internet anywhere in the world, as well as a few spare camels to take any new passengers along.

One particularly hot day, approx 1000 miles from the nearest water source or civilization, you stumble across Come and Ngamer whose supplies have been stolen by local nomads.  They are hopelessly lost, disoriented by the desert heat and shifting sand dunes.  They have nothing, and it has been over 24 hours for them without water, baking away in the sun.  Which poll option most closely resembles the actions you take?

Without meaning to sound offensive, I think you are trying to drill your point home in a very childish way.

I'd sell Luke to Saracen slave traders for trampling on our trust by impersonating our good eliter friend Patrick Murray and use the proceeds to buy a banana kaboom for Ngamer.

This is such an unnecessary topic. Bullshit such as this is ruining The Elite.

This is why we made Abandon Ship/FFA.

For those coming to the abandon ship/ffa boards and passing judgement... why don't you go to a gay club and pass judgement there, or go to some other niche club and tell them to behave differently.

Go to a yacht club and tell them to drive cars instead. Go to a chess club and tell them to play checkers instead. Go to a strip club and tell the dancers they shouldn't sell their bodies. Go to a LAN party and tell people to go outside and get sunlight.

Do those things if you really feel the need to act in this way. Cause there are a million groups you could pass judgement on if you feel the urge.

Those comparisons don't really work. If this is a free for all, surely people are free to display their criticisms of others?
