I've just realised that it is now not possible to ignore other members on this board. Furthermore, all previously ignored members are no longer ignored. After this realisation it all became so clear.
My conclusion - The powers that be realised that they were slowly (but surely) becoming completely ignored. They realised that it was inevitable that they would completely ignored by all members and therefore they whorish need for attention would not be met.
They knew they could not allow this though. They all got together on a small island off the east coast of the US. There they spent 5 days and nights brainstorming on how to stop their impending demise. By 9:16pm on the 5th day they had created and signed off on their evil scheme.
The scheme? Advise the forum users that there was a 'required' forum upgrade. The 'upgrade' to the new host would 'conveniently' also make it not possible to ignore members. Thereby removing all responsibility for the powers that be.
It's a fucked up world we live in.
