Nothing relevant today? Looks like you missed Karl's Ruins A 1:08. Classic PD untied that stood for over 4 years. If I remember it had great music as well.

yeah 51 in 2002 is nuts.  Consider we were all virgins at the time.  Wouter has some skills but is more washed now than Rafael Nadal.

While he's not the monster anymore that he used to be, remaining roughly top 25 with many times from the early 2000s really shows how far ahead of everyone else he was. 0:51 being worth 75 points 13 years later and fighting against the development of 2.X is absurd.

Wouter was the first goldeneye player I ever heard of back in the early 2000's... I remember finding some speedrun vids of his on like Kazaa or some random file sharing program and thinking how the fuck is that even possible (and how to pronounce his name ha)

Just my opinion to classify Luke's 1:05 as a heartbreaker. I can't come up with a good word for letting a run get away like that.

If it isn't too bothersome, you should research more achievements by the old school players.

It's refreshing to have more diversity rather than seeing the usual Boss, Clemens, Ace etc.

Sure I can do that. Only takes a few clicks to research the Players WR page and see what they got amongst other chronological facts I could use for big block updates like this.

^ Just wanted to troll-reply that you need to get gud with a February 29th WR. I checked the WR database to make sure and got ultra-rekt: you're a) the ONLY person who ever WR'd in GE on that date (YE, Otto, Cara, Illu did in PD) and b) did so TWICE (Aztec A 131 and SA 138, both 2008). Fuck.

Fun fact: Boss' Caverns Agent 1:02, especially combined with his trolly WR post at a time when WR posts were usually not troll, is what caused Luke to originally retire back in 2007.

I really appreciate the love on the board-top. Thanks. :)

And no, I was never ranked higher than 7th. Even after the removal of Henning.

I meant you were 7th when HB was in front of you, so retrospectively you were 6th then. Whether you still held that rank at the time he was banned is not relevant to this consideration.

So, was that the case?

Yes Shawn was 7th at his peak with Henning in front of him, so retroactively he'd have been given a rank of 6th with an adjusted high-point total.

who was the first to actually complete Objective C with an explosive through the door?

it was me mate, the highlight should still be on theelitegaming.

I also then went on to translate this strat to the Depot 00A ammo dump which might become useful one day.

Neat there have been 42 WRs today.  Guess it's the time of year when all us degenerates are done with school for the semester, come back to mom's house, dust off the old N64 and CRT and start giving some runs ago in avoidance of family time around the holidays.  Good stuff

Looking through this thread, it seems most of the posts are relevant only for the day they are posted on. If you check it a day or more late, you have no idea what they are talking about.
