very short "retirement" from GE
« on: July 24, 2014, 06:32:25 am »
I need to take a slight break from GE (a few hours, no longer than normal) while I give birth to myself.  Thanks to Marc for teaching me the truth and explaining how you need to finish giving birth to yourself before you can play GE at a good level.   :o

Maybe reborn you'll stop doing backboost-avoidance-strafelines during 154 attempts and just yolo the shit in full lookdown.

lol Leo Santos 9th. I assume it's because he had a boost on his s1 102?

Woll should be ranked high btw

Yeah it's hard to strafe in a straight line for a boost.

Boost Manipulation*** and I know how to do it as well and it helps to listen to the specific kind of animation they get. Then you know you are getting a boost.

You can't rank Woll higher when he gets 12:0 on Streets and still only gets a 1:58

with 12:0 I would realistically be getting 1:52, lol

Agreed..

That'd be my oh-so-pathetic in retrospect Woll Factor run where I showed that even with shitty strafing and otherwise lack of ability on Streets, sometimes the guards on the level just want you to get the time.  I went for 1:59 on SA for some enormous amount of time and then got my 11 or so boost 1:58 to tie Wouter.  Even being pre-lookdown, I must have completely stopped moving at some point on that run to only get a 1:58 out of it.
