Elite Homepage Redesign

Being a recent topic of discussion, I decided to design a new homepage for the-elite.net when I was bored. Feedback is welcome

I prefer the vegetable texture or the N64 one for the background.
the fonts : sans serif perhaps
add a green variation (like the red one) ?
the logo could be a bit bigger for the baseline

Also think the new logo is too small in that banner. It should be the main focus, yet everything else is bigger. The slogan in it isn't really necessary either, since there's a description underneath the logo anyway.
