For a second-rate twitch persona, marriage is an excellent choice: When splitting funds in the likely event of divorce, that only amounts to a few controllers while he gets half her fortune from thirsty donors. She is cute too so he made his papa proud, kudos to him.

I don't give the marriage much hope though. Not only because young and hasty marriage is often crap, but also because he is inherently thirsty while she didn't even dignify the proposal kiss with some tongue. And the fact that he did this public proposal alone shows that he's too alpha to put up with holding hands for long. 4 months isn't long enough so that's not a good sign. If he's proposing this soon it's because he is super naive, has little experience with relationships and depends on this relationship for his self esteem.

He also specifically stated just how dependant he is on this relationship with "she keeps me on my feet". Seriously, if you say dumb shit like that it's really not healthy. If you need to relationship to be happy you're pretty much fucked and I feel that the relationship is doomed. Eventually I think she might get sick of his neediness when she keeps meeting other guys who are confident in themself and don't need her to make them happy. This is way more attractive and healthier. He said that he has psychological problems recently as well which is not a good sign.

Also I really dislike public proposals myself. I feel that it is disrespectful and could even be an attempt to pressure her into saying yes. I think public proposals are bogus and don't mean much. The next say she could say no anyway and just claim that she said yes because there were 70k people watching on stream and she didn't want to break his heart in front of those people. Which honestly, is probably a good thing to do.

If I were to make a prediction it would be that this marriage does not happen at all. She said yes but it was under a lot of pressure and eyes so she may end the relationship before the marriage actually takes place.

I agree with this, but there is an exception. If they have already been talking about getting married beforehand, then I think it is all fine and dandy, especially if you know your girl likes to be the center of attention.

Due to the length of their relationship, it doesnt seem likely that they would have discussed it already, and you can also tell by the reactions of everyone around, they were all shocked, including her. I hope it wasnt a complete surprise to her and hopefully she knew he was going to propose at some point.

If they had discussed it previously and both mentioned they would like to marry each other and the proposal was more a formality and making it official then I'd say it's way more acceptable. If they hadn't discussed it and he placed the question on her out of nowhere in front of tens of thousands of people then I think that's really inappropriate.
