If we look at my analysis carefully, we see the distance between the tip of the gun and Bond's body (labelled x) is far too long of a distance for Jim to run to not take a hit. Furthermore, if we look at the guard's body, his/her abdomen and left thigh form what is known as the death°. This combined with x shows you're supposed to take a hit.
Let's look at Jim's chest. Now I don't know if he hasn't been to the gym in awhile but it's clear that his chest is relatively flat and small. At this point, his heart should be visibly beating even at Twitch's shitty mobile setting. The timer being at 7 seconds and the guard being right in front, there is no denying the above statement is true.
