***RWHITEGOOSE OFFICIAL STATEMENT REGARDING DAM SA 1:16 INCENTIVE***First of all, I want to point out that I've never, not paid out an incentive. Jimbo and I both delayed roughly a month paying out Jezz's G-Day because there was not adequate proof at the time that Jezz was a real person and not an alt. All other incentives I have paid out immediately, in full, and often with a few extra bonus dollars because that's the kind of person I am.
Secondly, I just want to shine some light on how sad of a situation this is. Had Ace gotten this time in February or March when we were on good terms, I would have been happy about him getting the record and earning the incentive. While I am happy that Marc's shit 1:16 has been tied, I am not happy about Ace earning the incentive. Ace has repeatedly gone behind my back and made threads about me being a "cunt" while acting nice to my face in Discord, Telegram or wherever else. Others have noticed Ace's bad behaviour lately too. The guy has just been a complete asshole lately.
I was actually willing to take a permanent ban from the forum to avoid paying out this incentive to Ace, before I read Luke's post. Now, I am actually leaning towards paying out the incentive and avoiding "punishment" in hopes that Ace will use the money to get a new capture card, or whatever he needs to improve his quality. I fear that I will send the money and Ace will instead spend it on Vimto and an ugly pair of Nike's, but Luke's post certainly has lead me to lean towards paying out the incentive. I will still allow the one week to pass and see how Ace's behaviour or attitude affects my view.
I want to add that I wrote the incentive back in January as a serious effort to have 1:16 and 1:55 tied to improve the sanctity of the world rankings, and benefit the entire elite. I take these incentives seriously and don't want to tarnish the reputation of any incentives I offer, but Ace's behaviour leaves me no choice. I only offer incentives that I am capable of paying out, and in response to Austin's baseless accusations that I "don't have the money to pay it out" this is what my PayPal looks like even after not having streamed for half a year:
With that in mind though, I have not received any payment from Twitch this month, because I haven't streamed in so long. When I made the post in January, I did not anticipate that I would not be streaming by now. What this means though, is that 10% of $0.00 is $0.00, therefore the incentive is $100.00 + $0.00 which is $100.00. Out of the kindness of my heart and to avoid any people claiming shenanigans, I will actually pay out the full $100.00 + $10.00 that I thought would be the minimum of 10% that Twitch would send me in the month, plus a bonus of $1.00, for a total of $111.00. That is of course, if I actually decide to send the money at all.
None of this would have happened if Ace wasn't a complete turncoat asshole over the past few months, and I'm sorry that this has had to come to this. Again, I will be waiting a few more days to watch Ace's behaviour and make my decision from there.
