Yeah I told Jezz in Discord that there is no reason to spend this much on a phone because it will be completely useless in 1 year; 2 years if you're lucky. $500 is the absolute max you should spend on a phone, and really closer to $250, with several backups. (Unless you're a multi millionaire, in which case buying a $1000 phone once a year is no problem.)
