1. Don't play Bunker 2 SA when you're cooked. Knowing what cinema you got is important but when you're cooked, you don't pay attention to the cinema and forgot just after doing the slap. And you end up wasting runs. Trust me this happened to me quite a lot when I went for 0:44.

2. You can warp the gate on Dam SA/00A by switching weapons at the right time and looking slightly to the right, as shown here:



It actually saves a little bit of time.

3. Never say "this is it", "finally", etc before it the run is actually over. You'll become more conscious of the run and tend to choke more often (and in stupider ways). Overconfidence isn't healthy.

I mentioned this to a couple of people but I feel like I should post it here since it's decent advice. The best way I figured to do the 5th camera on Bunker 2 is as follows: destroy the 4th camera while leaning against the pillar as I do on my 0:44, do NOT change your angle of attack (i.e. aiming angle) at all, then - when leaving the room take a nice wide and smooth turn towards the wall on the right while ever slow slightly aiming towards the camera. You should never hope to just erratically shoot when leaving the room and pray you destroy the camera. Try to incorporate as much skill and consistency as possible. You might enjoy the level more too when you notice subtle things like these and figure out as much it.

Did you think of it as well? I'm sure a handful of people must have tried it at least once. You cover more distance and it probably isn't as optimal as the regular way if you destroy the camera quickly but it's more consistent and allows for a better approach towards the 5th camera. No wonder I had a bunch of 45/46s before 44.. I think it's a really useful strat.

Note when the 2nd cinema is cut. This improves odds of the first boost significantly. Makes a huge difference on SA.

Use some common sense here! Improved boost odds is more important than knowing your splits.

If you want to increase your chances of avoiding this backboost after the BA, briefly hug the left corridor wall (such that you barely miss getting hit) before you make the turn to the BA.
