Not going to get into a religious debate here, but Science is based off of proven theories and facts... It doesn't explain everything. YOU believing that every atheist is a fedora-wearing redditor neckbeard is probably the main issue here. Maybe if you could consider applying facts to things instead of relating everything to a book filled with fairy tales you might be better off?

You know if I really deeply think about this I would say whatever people believe in is not even much of a choice at that moment, because I see someone who believes in Jesus for example, I can try it on but I know what the truth is for myself in this moment, people believe from what they have happened to experience.

If someone has a new experience maybe it will change someones beliefs, also some might think they believe something because they've been told that they should, but being honest with oneself might reveal you actually really believe something else.
