HUMAN BENCHMARK
« on: January 29, 2017, 05:20:50 am »
I'm sure this is old news, but for those who are interested, I found this site that not only tests your reaction speed but also tests your visual memory, word memory, and number memory. Give it a shot!

Here were my results from the tests on my first attempts.

The percentages represent the percentile you stand in.
i.e. My visual memory is better than 85% of everyone else.  :kappa:

13 digits (94%), only missed a digit on the 14th one

the rest of my scores are too embarrassing to post tbh, even if just for a first try. I blame my sickness

How fucking good memory do you cunts have? If 7 is average and I remember this guy giving me a 10 number phone number and being chocked when I said I needed to write this up. I totally feel inferior and I feel robbed, how did the psychiatrists not see I had this handicap?

The verbal one is neat, I've never seen a test like that before. Got 115.  Might try it again tomorrow.

298ms is borderline sloth like.  Maybe more Slowpoke-like, or close to mentally handicapped.

I'll test this when I'm more awake, I think your reaction time peaks after being awake for about 12 hours, near your body warmth peak or something like that.

To be fair, I took the test at like 5am, being exhausted. I suppose I wasn't as focused as I could have been. My second round through:

Visual went down strangely

These reaction tests where you have to wait for a screen change color are pretty irrelevant. My scores fluctuate quite a lot. Like, sometimes the change is real slow and you can later anticipate when it'll change skewing your results. Then my touch-pad is complete shit so I lose some time from clicking as well. If you want a truly healthy way to measure your reaction, do the healthy ruler drop test.
