Alright Jim had a long talk with Mrs. W just now and she said everything as currently scheduled looks good to her but that she isn't comfortable with adding any further guests.  So for anyone still in the bullpen, you'll need to find lodging off site if you'd like to participate in the tournament or come to the Lakehouse this year.

All are acceptable choices.  Yes, there is always next year, and you can ride the memory of the previous years since everything in life is either taking the opportunity or not taking it.  This isn't a life choice like deciding if you're gonna move to a new city.  As time ticks away, you'll realize you're getting older and will have to decide if you're happy with the big and small decisions you've made. 

I have a chance to buy 200 phones this week or next week and make up to $25k.  I don't have the money to do that, but I can try to sell a bunch of stuff I don't need or take out a loan if that amount of money will either put me in a better situation in life or make me happy.  It probably won't do either, so I won't make the purchase unless I wake up tomorrow and decide that I need those 200 phones in my life now.

Important notes:
* Please get with your pod before hand if possible and schedule a time on Monday or Tuesday to play (outside of 12-4pm Tuesday due to tennis outing).
* I want all pods to be done by end of Tuesday if possible. If you cannot get your pod play dome by Tuesday night, at least have it on the schedule for Wednesday morning. If not, I will auto-advance the top 2 seeds (unless they are the ones holding things up or they have played a few matches and lost, etc)
* Each player plays each player in their pod. Best 2 of 3 games to 11 points         
* If all 4 players stay and play their games, the pod shouldn't be much longer than 30 minutes.
* I will try to have a sheet for each pod on the table with schedules based on when you sign up to play
* Please mark your results with points for each match. Have one person in your group or an outside party (like me) keep track.

I would like to set the following times to play your matches:
Monday 11PM
Tuesday 12AM
Tuesday 1AM
Tuesday 11AM - Pod D (Derek, Matthias, Boss, Alec, Booth) This time works best for them because Matthias (at least) will be committed to tennis from 12-4PM Tuesday.

If none of those at all work for you, please let me know and I can assign you another time that works. These are just some that come to mind that should be easy to do. I primarily want to make sure the tournament actually happens and everyone that signed up said they would be willing to follow a schedule for matches.

Please reply to me here or on Discord, email, FB, etc. to claim a spot for your pod.

If you'd rather play outside of a schedule and just play your opponents whenever you are able to, that is fine also. Just make sure they happen before the end of Tuesday.

The money paid by attendees isn't just for lodging. It's also to offset additional costs: food, utility use, septic use, etc.

Things are looking pretty full but if you wanted to come for like 12 hours (noon to midnight and drive home after, or something like that) on one day earlier in the week when the house is less full, it would probably be okay. Just need to know in advance for meal planning.  Are you close enough for something like that to be reasonable?

I planned a tennis outing because we have at least 4 really interested. Do we want to try to plan a basketball outing? I know we have quite a few who would likely be interested. We would need to plan it around the existing tourney events and probably want to do it after Eddie arrives, since he is one of the ones who enjoys itthe most. Would anyone like to head this up?

Yes anyone who would lives in the area and would like to stop by for just a day (as in arriving noonish or later and heading back home late at night) is welcome to, and there wouldn't be any required fee attached like there is for those staying the whole week.  We'd just ask...

- that you'd post if you're coming and for what day, so the Ws can plan their meals around it
- a small "tip" for the Ws to cover your food costs for the day would certainly be appreciated

It looks like PYL's not going to be able make it down this year so Brian Ray has been upgraded to staying onsite, which takes up the final spot available at the lakehouse.  Brian, please post your travel plans and/or book your flights so we'll be able to work on getting you picked up.

Some phones it's like $200, but I just buy a mix of used phones and store returns.  Recently, this supplier is just selling me store returns, so I rebox them and sell them as new like everyone else.  I experimented with resealing machines, but a lot of people can call to the manufacture and verify the activation date, so it's better just to sell them as new open box.  I've bought phones from other sellers that come resealed.  It's easy to tell because there are a lot of crinkles in the reseals vs original manufacturer seals.  And some even don't come vacuum sealed but with plastic with adhesive on it, so if you want to go that resealing route, you just have to buy small plastic sheets with adhesive on the ends.  A lot of people also just buy broken phones and change the batteries, screens, or frames; but that takes a lot of work(you can spend an hour on a phone if things go wrong during the repair).

Also, Based on the schedule NGamer posted, I propose we leave for basketball around 11:30 on Thursday and come back by 1:30 at the latest. Eddie is ok with this which would give him time to be ready for his matches. I know we have several who should be very interested in this... like Third, Eddie, Booth, Hutch, etc.

If you are interested, let us know. We just need a few drivers. We can play at the same school as before. Did we have a basketball at the house or did someone bring one?
