Last year we had 6 participants and participation has been down lately. I believe the most we have ever had is 12.

2010201120122013201420152016I think it would work fine with anywhere from 6 to 12. Fewer than that leaves everyone with too many teams, more than 12 might be hard to manage, and some people may only have 2 teams or so.
Anyone who is interested in participating should post here with their availability for the next few nights. The default timeslot would be Wednesday somewhere in the neighborhood of 9 to 11 US Central. It normally takes about 2 hours to complete the draft after it starts, but you can certainly spend all your Coins within an hour and be done early if you need to get to sleep.
The one thing that is important in this event is that the roster is frozen once it begins. We can't accept a late joiner after bidding has started, so if you aren't present at start time, you'll be dropped.
