Currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Science. About 8 courses away. Intend on using it to attempt to get into a Physical Therapy program through the United States military.
I've been churning and burning with this for the past three years and the going has been slow. Working 50 hours/week, military requirements, wife, 3 (soon to be 4) kids, constantly moving, etc. Needless to say, the journey has been quite interesting and, for above reasons, EXTREMELY challenging. It gets quite ridiculous trying to take more than one course at a time. There simply isn't enough time in the day or enough brain capacity in my head to maintain normal functionality and trying to take two classes at once.
For the one or two people that perhaps have ever wondered, said responsibilities are the main reason I don't speedrun anymore. I stay, for the most part, fairly optimistic for achieving my goals, but I know that the load is great and if school, physical health, selfish needs (GE, board activity, movie watching, etc) die out somewhere along the way, it will be ok.
Best wishes to all who are striving towards their goals! Keep pushing! 👊🏽
