Okay, this morning we had a discussion and decided to do a 3-player tournament (first to 20 points) instead of 1vs1, in spirit of the 2012 tournament, which seemed like a huge success. It is faster, both game play and overall, more entertaining, and probably a better demonstration of skills. I have spent an hour or two setting up the tournament this morning. I cut Qwec from the tournament because of his post in this thread. If he's not trolling, I'll add him and remove one of the other "reserve players". Levels were determined to give as much diversity as possible. Using a random generator, me and Boss got lucky in the play-in seeding. It is likely that two of the following players will face off in the first tie-breaker if they don't win the first group play: Lovins, Woll, Eise or Jim. The first top player will be eliminated in the first tiebreaker - which seems like a suitable elimination pace.
Suppose that a match takes less than 10 minutes, the grand finals of GE will be played in between the semifinals and finals of MK64 - 45-50 minute exhibition.
