Question Regarding Proof Video

Hello all, I'm fairly new to the Elite and I have a question regarding proof videos. I use an HDMI upscaler for older games and it usually causes the game to fill the screen. I am still running on an N64 and I'm following the other guidelines, but I noticed their is no black border around my video like in the cropping guidelines. I just want to make sure I'm following the rules of the community. Thank you in advance!

Its generally recommended not to crop black border because of accidental game cropping but you can crop them if you are sure its only the black being removed
