Replacement controller stick
« on: May 07, 2018, 02:51:39 pm »
I just swapped out an old non functional stock stick with one of those gamecube style sticks. It feels great but the sensitivity of the new stick is crazy compaired to a standard one. Is there anyway to turn down the sensitivity or is it just something you have to get use to?

You have to mod it to make the sensitivity better. You probably won't be able to reach a high level of play with the GC stick in my opinion, so it's better to get a controller with original stick or something like a Hori Pad. There's also an adapter that let you use GC controllers for N64 that are supposed to be pretty good.

Yeah the gamecube replacement sticks are good as a 2nd controller to play 2.x with, but way too sensitive for normal 1.2 play

Yea i tried running streets agent with it and the slightest touch im 1.2 had me looking and running all over the place ended up with like 118s. Im gonna try it with 2.4 it seems like it will work better just running and changing strafes. Horipads are so overpriced and dont work nearly as good as a regular controller.
