What exactly do I need to get started
« on: May 26, 2018, 08:02:37 pm »
Hi everyone,

I'm new around here but considering to try to start running this game. I believe emulation is not allowed, so I was wondering where I can get a decent N64 in order to start trying to run this. Do I need a CRT, or is there some sort of HDMI adapter?

I'm sort of confused on what allowed and isn't, so if you could please point me in the right direction.

Read the proof policy which gives the requirements for posting times to the elite:

Also check out this thread which explains how to record your videos using a capture card, the most common method these days to show proof:

GV USB 2 (http://a.co/6Nv4Nef) and an s-video cable (you plug the yellow and white RCA cables into the CRT TV, and you plug in the s-video and red RCA cable into the GV USB 2 cable device) (https://www.ebay.com/p/KMD-AV-Audio-Video-SVideo-Cable-for-Nintendo-Gamecube/1200077373?iid=112278812948&chn=ps) it says gamecube but N64 has the same video plug as gamecube so its fine

capture guide for gv-usb 2 is here https://forums.the-elite.net/index.php?topic=20940.0
