Next telemarketer that calls our house:
"NO! I will NOT have phone sex with you" *click*
(must be said very loud so everyone in the room on the other end of the line can hear it)

:) ?

Hey yeah, just do it on the off chance that it might be one of those calls where they say to you: "Do you mind that this call will be monitored by my supervisor for management purposes?". Then as likely as not they'll be on speaker 'phone. :lol  :rollin  :lol

That's truly inspired, wiff. :D

"Good evening, Pizza Hut"
"Yeah sure, but do you want to hear something funny?" "Yeah..."

I just don't answer the phone.

Caller ID ftw!  ;)

So you just don't answer when you don't recognize the number?

Ah, that explains everything! Jon was constantly trying to call you, all through last week, but couldn't get you to answer. 8)  I think you should apologise to him. ;)

Oh and Tom, your others are good too; great shut-down potential in making them think you'll share a joke with them. I wish I had your imagination. >D

Yep, if it comes up as "out of area", some odd company name, or "unavailable" they can talk to the machine.

And Jon doesn't have my number.  Plus, he would know I most likely wasn't home anyway, you know, having a job and all that.  8o
