Welcome to a world where dragons have existed since time immemorial. Humans have landed on the Planet Kreysthahl after a minor accident with a wormhole. Their two ships were flung far off course from their intended destination and the onboard AI computers have no idea of how to get back or how far away they are from Earth. The Humans decided to colonize Kreysthahl unbeknownst to them that the planet gets showered by Ribbons every four hundred planet time or roughly eight hundred years or more Earth time. During colonization, the humans adapted to the bacteria that permeated Kreysthahl's air thereby making them planet-bound so they could not leave the planet even if they had the means to when the Shower started.
When the dragons were found, a few humans were able to be Impressed and thereby became the first dragon riders of Kreysthahl. Over the thousands of years, the dragon riders have dwindled in their number and there is evidence that a Shower will commence soon. Can you stand idly by and watch as the lush growth in Kreysthahl is burned to a cinder or will you join the ranks of the dragon riders and help to defend the planet from the menace coming from the sky?
When you join, you can be:
- a Dragon and be wild and free yet always helping to protect the planet from Ribbon
- a Candidate and hope to Impress and join the ranks of the Rider Folk
- a Rider and help to protect the people and the land from Ribbon
- a Den Folk and help to maintain the Den and the Riders' basic needs
- a Tree Folk and help to organize the ground crew making sure that there is not Ribbon left burning to destroy the land and animals of Kreysthahl
- a Guild Folk and help to educate the people about their history, their duty to the dragons, and keep Kreysthahl running smoothly
