Possible idea for Cradle

I was on a Cradle agent run which seemed to be on PR pace and a dead guard had a nade right before console hut. After missing drone strat, i figured why not throw the nade at the console since Trev didnt and thought this can save time as a back up or instead of shooting 6 ZMG shots at the console. However the thing is that the nade pickup odds were similar to the old strat used on Cradle SA/OOA.

It's just not fast enough for 33, and you blow up the console yourself anyway with the 34 strat without a nade needed, there's not really a use case where it works out besides "hey that's cool"

I'm sure 33 is possible though, this is just probably not the strat that will break the barrier

I could highly see this being used for those who want to get either a 34 or a 35. But getting the TWR would be one in a million.

I feel obligated to point out that Clemens and Irie hold the 33 sweep on Cradle along with Karl and Wodahs. I suggest you watch the Cradle speedlore where it explained how shit the grenade strats are to grind for. The 33 route pretty much guarantees the nade to happen in the fastest possible spot. Plus it's really important not to wander around or look in the wrong spots with what we know about lag prevention and Trev manipulation strats. With the 33 nade you can just run to the exit without having to deal with the chaos of picking it up and using it which would be really hard.

Look i had watched the speedlore to understand what you're talking about. Still my idea might be worth adding to the countless of nade strats that have been used in Cradle over the years even if its for beginner or casual players who want to try out something unique.

Why would anyone use this for 34 or 35 when that is way easier to achieve the old strat boosting through the console. That's not a casual or a beginner strat or a good one in the slightest

Well there might be a situation where Trev does have the nade when he dies via drone strat and throwing the extra nade would produce extra lag. That's if Trev nade is close to the extra nade creating time loss. Hence the reason why i thought the fastest time for the idea is high 34 or 35.

I have to confess that this idea is merely a resurfacing of an old strat proposal orignially talked about by Randy Bukemia 3 years ago on the main strats topic.
