What is nothing? Can it even be possible? If there is abscence of everything, then it should be nothing. But isn't that something itself?

I was actually arguing for the "nothing exists" side when I was discussing this with my other nerd friends.

Basically, its like sure, nothing is something, but "nothing" as the abscence of all, can occur. Its just there, but, nothing is there.

if nothing is there... it can be related to someone noone wants to exist, is ignored, but is still there... like me. now that ive mentioned myself, who else should be "nothing"

Nothing exists, however intangible. "Nothing" as a whole is an idea, nothing more.
