This is Anything Goes League, where you use any combination of in game cheats to complete a level. In this league, the game becomes much like a puzzle, it's the place to use your imagination. How will you take advantage of all the cheat options to beat a level? Can you find a new method to beat the records? The concept of speedruns using the in game cheats goes back to the infancy of the elite, I encourage anyone to dig up old posts and videos of any times that were done back in the day.

The main focus of this thread is on Goldeneye runs, but posting Perfect Dark cheat runs here is fine too! Goldeneye has the Turbo mode cheat, but Perfect Dark has Slo-Mo Single Player, basically the opposite of Turbo Mode :v Also, we get to use Paintball Mode in Goldeneye! You could also just do runs without Turbo Mode or Slo-Mo, basically you can just do whatever you want and someone else might try to beat your run the same way. Just do whatever you find is fun!

2 notable Version Differences in Goldeneye - There's no Hunting Knives on NTSC-J so the 2x Hunting Knives cheat is replaced by a Sniper Rifle / Rocket Launcher combo. On NTSC-J when you are using any of the 2x Weapon Cheats, you are capable of pulling out just 1 of the 2 weapons - on NTSC, you're forced to pull out both. This is mostly relevant in saving time for pausing, because pausing takes longer when you have to put away a left hand gun.

I'll start with my own runs and include a little description for each of them.

Aztec 00 Agent 0:59
Cheats used: Bond Invisible, Infinite Ammo, Paintball Mode, Turbo Mode, Fast Animation, 2x RCP-90
With Bond Invisible, its possible to get the glass door open very quickly! If you shoot at the nearest guard on the right while standing at the glass you'll lure him and the guard near the mainframe to the glass. The guard near the mainframe also has a chance to open the mainframe when he gets lured. It's very slim odds to get both an open mainframe and fast glass opening so you end up just grinding out starts, running to the glass as fast as you can and getting a quick shot. The best way I found to get through the rest of the level was to use an RCP-90 to quickly shoot out the exhaust bay console, take a hit from the drone, and try to fit in some quickpauses. The big room is basically the end of the level, and getting a clean insert there is not easy at all. After that you just need to go back and insert the disk at the glass for Objective A. Conveniently the glass door doesn't close on it's own so that's no problem!

Cheats used: Invincible, Infinite Ammo, Gold PP7, Turbo Mode, Fast Animation, 2x Grenade Launcher
Run as fast as you can to the Console hut, avoiding the guards as best as possible. Nade the Console as you strafe through, now try to snipe Trev with the Gold PP7 as you run to the end!

Runway 00 Agent 0:16 - Improved to 0:14!
Cheats used: Invincible, Bond Invisible, Infinite Ammo, Paintball Mode, Turbo Mode, 2x Rocket Launcher
Grab the key, blow stuff up, fly away.

Bunker 1 00 Agent 0:48
Cheats used: Invincible, Infinite Ammo, Paintball Mode, Fast Animation, 2x Rocket Launcher
I didn't use Turbo Mode because it's just too much for this tight level. I use rockets to blow up all the cameras and guards. I need Boris to have as few guards in his way as possible while he walks to the mainframe room. I need to have both mainframe room doors open for Boris. It's very easy to look away too fast and have a rocket unload, and there's almost no time to spare during the hacking section. Rarely, a guard will take out the glass that blocks the camera in the big room allowing me to complete A early, but I don't think there's much time lost in a left strafe ending with a rocket shot for that camera, the lag even helps for the warp.

A few stucks, stopping for the drone at Xenia, using Gold PP7 on the last drone due to lag. Perhaps 29 is doable on a great run?

some small mistakes in the midsection def cost 243 but this is my best elvis tt all morning by multiple seconds, beats the tas and is probably non-repliceable tbh. First door also didn't open for no reason, unfortunately.

Basically just a speed level. Chaotic val strafing with Turbo+FA. I just played looking for any FR, I wont play much more of this, just wanted to show off concept.

I should make a post compiling old info, as PD has been run with cheats multiple times in the past.

There used to be an old chart of WRs that nowadays is probably only available through the Internet Archive if at all, but I have a picture of it:

This chart is quite not up to date, but it's a good starting point. Just to mention a few, Investigation A 1:00, Extraction PA 0:44, Villa A 0:58, Chicago SA/PA 0:16/0:17, etc., were times achieved by chuck, and some of them used to have videos, although it seems several of his videos are lost. There is still a video for his Chicago PA 0:17 (Cheats) and Defection SA 0:16 (cheats).

There are several old Cheats threads throughout the 1006 PD threads here plus the Archived ones, and in some of them people posted their times, strats and sometimes even videos. There were some cool tricks I read somewhere (very short sample list below). I can't remember the thread and don't have much time to check, but it could be this one.

Invest: use FarSight to lure someone from the ending and avoid the Data Uplink.
Extraction PA: use X-ray scanner for the lift objective.

And the Duel WRs have been 0:03/0:02/0:02 for ages, and are pretty easy to get:

Infinite Ammo, No Reload.

Do Agent WR style, switch to Rocket Launcher and throw a precise rocket to where Jonathan and Trent spawn in the cinema.

Also got 16/16 on SA/00 , only difference there is you sometimes die if a guard blocks you during the boosts at the start, 15s across the board are doable not sure on 14 agent. Perhaps there is a strat where you do a GL boost on the bottom of the ramp and trev somehow dies, and you can just boost to the end. Might look into it.
