For example: Crash Site in around 2:10-2:15 is easy to get, and it's worth some points. Same as P2 sub 3, Defection in around 2 mins, or Duel PA 0:09-0:10 (

).

Even though I'm not a great player, I'm bored at the moment... So I've seen your times, and I have made this possible list of goals. Most of them are quite easy. Some others are kinda hard to get for someone like me:

I don't know if it's enough for a top 50, but if it isn't, I can just add better goals in some stages.

For Defection Perfect Agent, is there an easy way to glitch to the door where the programmer is?
And is it easy to glitch to the uplink part? Can't see 2:05 happening without glitches as I still mess up glitch after all these years (

Being easy or not is relative... If you practise it, it will become easier...
- The first glitching (falling on that platform out the building and getting in) should happen correctly every try. If not, just ask for help. Even though I'm not a great speedrunner, I think I'm able to do a tutorial for that.
- The speech skipping is hard in Defection... If it were easy, my PR wouln't be >2:00, for example. But for a 2:05, you don't need to do it.
- For the next glitching, you have also to pay attention on your angle exiting the builging... If you go too much to the right, you won't exit from the building. If you go too much to the left, either you won't get out of the building or you will get stuck on a wall.
- The jump to the computer isn't easy to me... But if you fail it, you can still do something like 2:15.

Dunno if this helps, but here's a video you can use: http://rankings.the-elite.net/perfect-dark/ltk/1852 . It's my LTK in 2:07. I did a slow end, I didn't do the speech skipping and I did that slow strat for the beginning and still got 2:07. Lower shouldn't be that hard.

I just turned on my N64 to test some things in Defection, and somehow I got a PR:
Defection - PA - 1:56.
From 2:04. I used a strange strat I found... It's a strat to do sub 1:50s relatively easily (here I didn't fall on the computer, and still did an 8 seconds improvement :P).
The developement of the strat was done some time ago because I never manage to do the speech skipping. This is the strat:
- Cut the cinema right in the first sentence.
- Fall on the guard and glitch to the platform.
- Enter the building as normal, touch the programmer's office door and start going up again.
- After Cass' obj., just use the WR strat. The programmer will open the door in 1:24-1:29 approx.
I don't recommend this strat to top eliters or for RTA attemps, but it's very nice for people who is bad at speech skipping like me.

Of course, I'll go for lower. Video later/soon.

Finally! I had some bad luck. Three runs that was 39.9~40.1 where I got stuck on guards, had minor mistakes or choked to open the door leading to the room with safe.
Felt mediocre so didn't expect to see 0:39 on this run.

Heh, reminds me of when I was going for 0:51 on PA. Had a bunch of rounded up 51s/low 52s, including a 51.90 and a 51.91. The funny thing is my actual 0:51 was a 0:51.91 rounded down. The lag is so random at the end.

The ending sucks.

YAY! Actually was a truly horrible run up until the buttons, then had perfect setup, turned off xray, smashed then off in a blink of an eye, got some stucks at the blue area but had 2754 open doors on my way back to the end.
I pretty much knew that I was able to PR on any given run basically because of possible end luck, but with a very solid run I should really get something around 1:50.

No jump, closed door, slight stuck on guard in the end before exit. Ridiculous to play on PA. Cloak guards are easy but the mid part is so random.
At least I got myself properly back on the leaderboard.
