? 1:53 isn't a good record. There hasn't really been any cut on the level in the past 12 years. But I was still amazed Trudeau got it out of nowhere and learnt the level pretty quickly. A legend indeed.

I don't remember much of it (since it has been 8 years ago since I tied that record (wtf 8 years already?)), but I do remember the level being a huge troll with the guard needing to call down the elevator. For me it was not THAT difficult, but definitely not easy to get 1:53 (I had a lot of 1:54s dupes). It's definitely not a top-tier time, but with the current strat I don't see it going that much lower either.

It's true. That was the main problem for me when going for 1:53 as well. The pace is really easy but getting a clean 1st lift shut is difficult. However I don't think I really knew what I was doing (was just copying WR videos, which is what everyone seems to be doing these days as well) which is why I never got the untied sweep.

Im so glad Karl brought us all back to PD to realize how untapped and fun the game is. This rate of untieds with how low hours we are all playing just goes to show how much better it is to speedrun than Goldeneye.
