An untied sweep on a short level such as Chicago in 2016 is definitely something I never expected to see...We need a strength of WRs update.

Incredibly historic untied, Karl, massive congrats! After over 3000 days, since December 31st, 2007, SOS PA 2:02 has finally been matched (and beaten!). The longest standing untied not just currently, but literally of all time (and by 700 days) goes down!

That leaves Clemens' Extraction SA 1:18 now as the longest standing untied across both games.

I always really liked Maian PA 2:02 as the LSU because it's a very good WR with no shittery involved. A true "time for the ages." It was absolutely deserving of its distinction but the way it has been broken was a good and honourable one. This is the elite I envision for the future. Respect, competition and fairness. There was no Marc unwatchable VCR footage, no Clemens webcam fuckery, no obviously fake Attack Ship 206 style video... two honourable men playing their guts out and achieving great things.

Congratulations to Ace on the most incredible untied run we have ever seen, and congratulations Karl on the best run of 2016.

I remember Marc asking me when he watched me play Maian PA "why don't you do the start SA-style?". Good question. It's mind-blowing to finally see someone successfully pull off this difficult strat, what a run

At the same time, it's a bit sad to see 2:02 gone as I always liked that run but I'm biased when it comes to LSUs.

Man what an unbelievable day! Was insane to catch up on everything when I got home. How would you rate that 2:00, Karl? Not sure if the first elevator was good or bad, just felt like you were sitting there for an eternity dodging bullets. Was awesome to see the whole run done so beautifully

Clemens and I are buddies obv, so seeing that 1:22 and that reaction at the end... Lol it felt like the most vindictive, satisfying record snipe of all time and I busted out laughing at the end. Intense stuff!

Lift on maian is weird tbh. But that lift was about 1:54 pace for SA (everything up to that point is the same as SA) to give you a reference point.

Yeah, just about. And sub 3 is definitely possible on PA if someone degens the level properly. That said, 2:53(ish) and 3:02(ish) would be very high quality times IMO (lets say Tier 2). Hopefully Jezz can and wants to clean it up!
