Also, I pulled off another Defection 6 first try, off the guard's head, right in front of Alex.

I guess he'll capture it and when he sends it to me I'll upload it and stuff.

It's better because the chances of not killing the skedars are lower. If you do normal shot, the grenade can bounce or something.

That the only reason? Is shoting wall huggers faster? I got here 2 times on ltk, and both times failed with just normal gl shots at the spots. So gay, how you can't use your last gl shot, or you fail the king, any reason for this???
Should this be a high completion % or will i fail this a bunch?

It's not too much luck involved. Just make sure the shots hit the tanks low to the ground for a higher chance of completion

Wall hugger and normal shot are both the same, speed-wise. Shooting a normal shot can make it rebound and explode too far away from the Skedar. Wall hugger ensures it will drop and explode right next to it. You could shoot a normal shot, but like mentioned above you'd have to aim at the base. It's easier just to use a wall hugger.

You cannot use the last shot because the game knows that the wall (in the n00b strat) hasn't been blown up - it thinks you need the shot to continue on in the level.

Maybe a (super ultra high) 0:14 is possible then. Let's assume your 15 was a 15.9 (11.00 case, not the fastest ending...). Some people have claimed 10.5x cases if I recall correctly, so that would cut 0.4 - 0.5 second. There's the ending too, how much faster do you think you could have done it? 0.1 - 0.2 second, maybe?

Then maybe someone could time the cinema so the bot would give you some boosts and save another... 0.3 second or so.

Maybe 0:14 can be done after all... it would require a perfect run, though.

Actually, my end decimal was 15.8x. Wouter thinks it said 15.89, but when I looked at it, it looked like 15.86.

The last time you see isn't necessairily the exact time you got though, especially in a level with high lag at the finish as in chicago. 14.. I'd say let's TAS it out!

Yeah, Wouter, I agree... but the lag doesn't matter here, what I'm saying is: David said that he got 15 with a 15.8x last time, so he could have gotten 14 with a 14.8x last time (wow, I'm Captain Obvious). We just have to lower an exact second (maybe less, but I don't know much about the "round-up time limit"), and that might be possible with a faster ending and a new cinema timing.

What does TAS mean?
