I don't think anyone believes an endscreen or so.

It's possible we do believe times that someone we trust claims, though. (or just when the times aren't really worth any disbelief)

Moreover, you don't need a capture card, you can tape yourself with a VCR and once you've got the time you were going for, you use your digital camera.

Sandbox mods can post as many times per minutes they want. They spammed they way towards the 1000s, Mike got over 2000 posts in one day.

When I was speedrunning PD you were one of the first players who had times around the same as mine, so over the months I compared my times to yours until I quit, which is why :06 is such a shock- compared to my absmal :21

Wow, thats cool QoiZ! I have read your strat for 1:32 Investigation A! I liked it beacuse it was short and not too in depth! I still cant improve my awful 1:35 though... lol
I will hopefully get in the top 100 sooner or later.I have used Jon as a milestone to pass.
Yea I kept going for Defection so my little intiails would be needed on the front page of the World rankings

I always compare my times to Yako, I still do somtimes. My very first target for people to pass was "ZAP!" Then Yako, Then Perfect Knar, Now, its a big jummp to Jon.

I need help with the guard/alarm on g5 agent. I'm getting very good TTs (same as Karl's) but that alarm is screwing me up. All I know is that you must jump very close to the wall, so that the guard in front of door doesn't see you. But it's weird, I never get it to work.

Are you standing up like IMMEDIATELY after releasing the camspy? From what I can tell Karl stands up like right after coming out of the 'spy, and is already standing straight up by the time he's halfway to the ground. Also I think cinema timing would have something to do with it (although I'm not sure).

Bosshardt-style jump off the helipad, and complete pwnage to the elevator. In addition to the closed brown door I had to open before the elevator, I must have lost like .2 between the elevators on the bottom floor.

Agreed. I was debating whether to delete it or not, but knew everyone would get all pissy if I did. It can stay, but don't do it again or it will be deleted. Post it in WR discussion or the PR topic instead. You even said it yourself, a WR's a WR. And 0:33 is not a WR.

I'm way more impressed by a 0:33 old strat than by another 0:06. I think he should be allowed to post it too, only a few people are getting WRs nowadays, it's good to see something new in the WR topic every now and then.

I've done like 1:43 on Chicago PA w/o bombspy. If it's a WR, I suppose it can be posted on WR topic.

It's not for the record itself, Slayer. 33 is indeed more impressive than 0:06, but it's NOT a WR, end of question. I'm not saying that he should delete his post, but from now on we should avoid these stuff, or else, as I said, I can post my Chicago PA time there with no problems, and the WR topic would lose all it's "magic".

That 33 for me equals to any cheat, co-op - or whatever - record. And if the WR thread is not getting too much records recently, posting WRs-wannabe won't help at all.

So I was speed running Carington Villa and I shot the guy who has the keycard. I expect the cinema to kick in but it doesn't.

It was sooo strange I'm walking around the room Carington is in, and there he is, just sitting in that stool.

I wasted an entire clip on his head and he didn't die. I was like WTF?

So I exited the door I came through and I went back in. The cinema plays. Has this occurred to anyone else?
