Ok, so i think i
may have discovered a possible new 'secret world' in PD.
Playing the other day with my cousin on Crash Site PA with a few cheats on (None that would effect the ourcome of the trick) - before i go on, this may have already been discovered before, and i highly doubt - in fact i would say there is pretty much no way - this will be usable as a speedrunning strategy on this level, but it's interesting nonetheless. Not much 'new' stuff is discovered in these two great games anymore.
Anyways, in the area with the trees; the one where you have to blow up the alien craft in PA, there is a tunnel that leads to a canyon. while facing this tunnel from inside the tree-room, you will notice there is a slight 'bumb' or 'ramp' on the left of the entrance that continues down the mouth of the tunnel for a few 'metres'.
I straifed along the left-hand-side wall going right, and entered the tunnel at full speed, hugging the left wall. once i felt i had reached the 'peak' of the 'ramp' i went straight, cassing Joanna to 'jump'(just as she does when going down stairs at full speed) i 'jumped' over the tunnel and landing with my body stuck between the the upper half of the right hand side wall and 'outside' the game.
There was nothing to really see, just a really orange/yellow/white sky. I tried walking but fell into oblivion.
I tried this a few more times (i might like to add - i found this extremely hard to perform and didn't really figure out an 'exact' manouvre to reaching this place, most of the time i was just running around like a crazy person and doing crazy jumps) and kept falling through.
So yeah, maybe if someone more skilled and creative than myslef would like to try and figure something out, maybe it could be used (my first thought was falling into the caverns where the president trent are) for something, and if not i feel pretty proud to have discovered it - something possibly new to try for a few minutes at least.
But i don't know if this has been bought up before or not, and i would provide pictures but i don't have a capture card or nothing like that so i can't, sorry.
