This Is really pissing me off...every time I get to the hangar it always stalls, when it looks like Im going to get at least a 0:57,(obivoulsy its on agent) even when I skip his speech!!(which rarley happens)..And when I get there in like 0:54 it stalls until like 1:04!!! so yea guys I could use a little help.. Sorry If this topic doesn't have enough of a point but it has been driving me crazy!!!

Oh: and I've watched YE's 0:52 many times.. Does anyone have a video of like a 0:55 0:56 or 0:57??

The only thing that could make this happen on agent (for you) is:

You're getting the devastator, destroying the glass, not completing the hostages until you're in the firing range, then taking the shortcut to the ship via the destroyed glass.

If it's not that then you're very unlucky and if it is that, then don't get the devastator.

Yeah. Explain the strat you're using.

You cannot skip any speeches on CI. The entire level revolves around speech. Carrington must say all of his lines before the level can end. The trick to this is to save the hostages ASAP (ie. upstairs) so he will start his speech sooner.

My strat that I am using is I open the door to holo training room, go upstairs, save hostages, get dev., fire it into other room, go downstairs, save gostages in firing range, break glass for shortcut, and yea thats about it... basically what Matt said.

So what you guys are saying is that I should open the door in the firing range hopefully get the devastator, and get the hostage objective done before I even get in the firing range so that carrinton starts his speeches earlier?

I shall give it a try, thanks for your help guys. I was supprised with the reply Matt, that is exactly what I wa doing.

there is an easier strat if you just want sub 1:00

Start off by going to the holo room and opening the door then keep running to the elevator. Use boost at top of lift and then run into first hostage room, but open the door to the other hostage room through the wall. Kill the 2 guards then head back downstairs to the firing range. Boost again at bottom of lift. When you enter the range, kill guards if you have to, grab RCP and then switch to it and cloak. Run towards bomb and switch to uplink when you near the bottom of the ramp. Upload virus and try to time it so you run out as soon as it is complete. Put RCP back on and cloak and just head for end. When you get inside hanger just pause until explosion ends.

Someone correct me if i made an error on any of that

get any NTSC 53 videos and do exactly it (or bryan's 52)
sub 1, even if you are world's worst player
you can kill a lot of hostages on agent, so just copy what blue lightning said, besides changing to cloak, just go with uplink in hands, its easier
with that, speeches shouldn't be the problem

I know this seems like dumb question but I can't seem to find the right position to open the door.

Edit: ok now I can get the door open, but Its not completing the objective!!

Yeah, 55 was the wr and it was crappy, even I had it on PAL

Started to go for 54 as soon as I heard about the new doorstrat and got it pretty fast, 3rd in the world or something :eek

Should've gotten it sooner but the ending gayed me up a few times, due not ending fast enough for some unknown reason.

Anyway, sorry for this meaningless blabbering about old times, just getting a bit nostalgic here.
