I'm just saying, if you do the president part bad, he runs slow. As Randy pointed out, do exactly as he does in his vid and the president will be fast. But you can modify certain parts and he will still be fast...sometimes a little faster.

The UFO shot is so hard to do...I have tried memorizing spots, but it just locks onto to different people and messes me all up. This run I got the shot off decently, but can be better (should be only a second or two slower than SA at best, I'm guessing)

I seriously don't understand the strat. If it's same as normal, well then, here's what I do.

Start at end of second line, when she uncrouches and stuff. Get into lift, get case. Head down, instead of going through the door you came, go through middle door (with cloaking on of course). Kill chick, who's usually in the spot from Agent, so she's way back there. Head back in, go downstairs, put case on, head to computer thing, press button, blow up glass with devestator/rocketlauncher etc, drop down, head to locked door, go in, skip these guys, press elevator, run to next area, rocket launcher near the door, crouch through glass, pickup safe item, run to lift, shuts on you at 1:44.

What am I doing wrong?

hey i played pd cheat this week (went to knuckles' house), and got a few wr's/pr's.. all the strats i used were made mostly by him, some by myself. i never checked this topic, lol. so here it goes

investigation pa 2:39 - stupid run, slow bot

extraction a 0:40 (.90) - failed a 40.3 before, this was quite easy.

extraction sa 0:42 - can get 40, 41 at least..

extraction pa 1:07 (.06

) - hm nice run, got stuck quite a bit on the bg room tho.

villa a 1:02 - nice, no boosts (i suck doing it), can do 1:01 w/o them.

villa sa 1:08

chicago a 0:12 - wtf, 0:11 seems quite hard.. no boosts also

chicago sa/pa 0:18 - both easy, the only problem is the mine throw. 17 is maxed

pelagic a 0:44 - nice run, worst button combination (i got a perfect one before, but didnt get 2 doors opened, costing me the 43)

pelagic sa 1:32 / pa 1:42 - pelagic is fun with slow-mo + cloaking ;p both runs were ok

institute a 0:38 (.26) - this took me a while, i suck at killing that lady on the holo room. 37 is very possible, specially with boosts

institute sa 1:13

did some crap stuff on maian, i need to know the strat, someone explain it to me plz

war pa 0:27 (.2

someone with boosts abilities can do 21/23/25

What is the extraction A strat you used? Didn't i have 42? That seemed pretty good. You couldn't have used the same techniques (i hope

The run wasn't perfect. I got stuck on a guard for about 0.4 :lol

Other than that it was really good though. It was 28.85 FYI.

44 Pelagic 2 A

Suppose I could dragon boost 43, 42 would be pushing. I almost didn't see what time i got because i pressed start as it was coming up and it only flashed for split second. 2 doors opened. It took a few runs to work out how to have the 1st door open.

2:53 Attack Ship PA (again - this time taped). I need to time the cinema different. Straight away maxes out at about this time.

3:14 Escape SA * 2 (taped) - One where i pushed him *all* the way, one where i pushed him to the catwalk. All the way is best for sure, but harder.

0:53 Villa PA (taped) - Just a very solid run. I can't see better than 51 happening ever.

well i use the same strat i guess. blow up blue thing, go to elevator.. obj 1 fade out at 9.x, that's all i remember now.. i may check something else if u want.

the only thing i think i do different is the bg room. i firstly kill the lady next to the ramp, then while going up the ramp, i kill the remaining 3 at the bottom. then while opening the door, i kill the leader. my strafe on my 0:40 (.90) wasnt that good, since i failed a 40.3

anyway i may play some p2 SA/PA, i want my wrs back :]

A few things...

Vitor, since you are PAL, (I think?) maybe you should try to lower Deep Sea A/SA for us...I don't know anything about the level, but I wouldn't doubt you could put on supershield and throw in a bunch of boosts and lower the times by a lot.

Also...
I really want to know the strat for Air Base PA. It's *exactly* the same as on regular? Do I use boosts?

And other stuff...anyways, I think I'm going to go for a few records right now.

Matt: Believe it or not, I didn't boost. It was a flat out solid 28.1 finish, and it can be 27 without boosts; I wouldn't be able to do good with boosts, since I use the phoenix the whole time anyways, I would just be boosting myself back a lot...Come to think of it...I might give that a try later, it's only like the first room where it would give a backboost, so I could just start with another gun and go for headshots...

If things go well, except a 26/27.

0:52 Elvis, so I was at least 2 seconds off. Then after exiting the first canister room (one with like 6), I took a right instead of a left..since that's a dead end and stuff, I had to turn around, probably lost another 2 there. Don't feel like going for better though...

I watched my 33 G5 SA vid... and my word... CR.AP! I don't use any good techniques and still get 33, and my camspy TT is lower than what i can get now days. Not to mention a lower finish time. I think that PAL is slower than NTSC on this level. That would explain a lot. I'll give ntsc a shot in January.

I'll also tape a G5 A PAL 28 so i can compare it to an ntsc 28 (get one on tape, josh).

Figured out the strat...Not that great of a run (everything went wrong at the start...) but it's much better than 2:33 obviously.

Matt, my total Special Agent time is 31:16, yours is only 31:00...Considering you have a 1:02 advantage on Deep Sea (according to our current times, that is), I would say you should be well below me...you better get to work.
Same with Agent...23:36 me, 23:05 you...21 seconds ahead. But your Deep Sea Agent time is close to 40 seconds ahead of mine...

Basically with cheats, PAL has a huge advantage.

Finally...48 Elvis, my best ever. The only mistake I made was when I got into the 5-6 cannister room, I missed 2 shots and actually had to wait about 2 seconds at the door. Other than that, this run was great..I'm not sure how fast you can get Elvis, but with 48, I'm guessing the best we will every get without boosting is about 2:44.

Do the same for SA except do the bottom first and kill the dudes upstairs when you're going towards the first sentry gun button.

PA can save time here too i think, i just haven't tried.

Well, this strat is about 3 seconds faster than mine, at least (I think I could get 36, but it would be pretty good). So, that means since I used my strat for 1:14 on SA...

Expect a new record on SA soon...

By the way, put on Enemy rockets, it makes Objective 2 fail sometimes, but if not, then the Firing range guys die right away and you complete as soon as you shoot the holo room hostage...so you can "make the cut" without stopping (19.0x for me...)
I'm not going to do this for SA, because completing it with enemy rockets is a @#%$ @#%$. (x2)

oh yeah, you could almost count on it there sure as hell can be some speed differences other than just the lifts between NTSC/PAL. just think about it.. NTSC was originally faster, they adjusted the speed on pal (or maybe the otherway around, on NTSC), anyway one of both got adjusted at least. how big is the chance when adjusting the speed for another system to be "the same" as the other system that it is EXACTLY the same? I doubt it is big. So I doubt it is the same. So there's most likely a difference in speed, it's just so small that you hardly notice it while playing normally, so you might find out when you have both systems, use cheats like slowmo to be more accurate, and get precise runs (to some point in stages or so), then compare the TTs. oh yeah...
