I don't suppose you guys would care that I'm already playing for 1:11, and it looks easy to me.

It's definitely easy for speed, but gay. Make sure you use a tiny bit of look up when going for the 2nd ladder to make the blue guard never there... The other tricks are good, but not necessary. This is the best one.

What TTs are you getting for explosives on? (when the timer disappears)

I dunno if flat 28 can do it... Karl was doing 27.5 and failing (though i guess not because of speed). I do heaps of 27.75s... Maybe try my method of leaving the button area.

Geez, even I can do a mid-high 27 explosive placement quite often... but I always get stuck on the ladder (not on the blue guard, I mean on the ladder) for some decimals. :rolleyes

I didn't really use many tricks except holding full speed on the gate button press.  That lookup thing didn't really work for me as far as blue guards go.  Maybe I don't lookup enough I dunno.  I even used lookdown going up the ladder.  My best 1st lift press was high 33.  I also did beginning in right strafe while holding C down for just a fraction.

Geez... how the hell do you press the button on full speed??? I guess maybe it's easier for those who can press B whilst turning and strafing. :)

What explosives TT?

Doing button in full speed isn't difficult, Probably just takes a bit more tries to get it right.

Yeah. It's hard to do sometimes, but if a guard is there then its pretty easy. The guard should be standing next to the edge of the wall you face as you approach the button. Then you strafe into the guard and press the button. This guard is there often enough. It's not that much unlike the computer in the beginning of facility (which is easier to activate in full strafe if theres a guard standing in the right spot in front of it).

The composer has used concise syntax (again) in an attempt to convey, to the audience, the suggestion that he is a master of witty rhetoric and that he is far more awesome than the person he is addressing. Due to the lack of brain-power reflected in the text, this tiresome technique fails to convince in our contemporary context (again).

I was going to play for 129/130 invil SA, but i'm not sure if it's even possible.

Here are a few factors that @#%$ with each other:

The newest strat involves throwing the bug from far away, which allows you to get 35 shields.

The bug still lands at roughly the same time as the old strat (it has to go way, way higher). So the techie takes off about 0.5 seconds faster than before.

So you're 2 seconds faster, but the techie is 0.5 seconds faster.

You can't wait more cinema, because to really affect the techie, you need to wait about 5 seconds. You'll miss the second lift.

So it's totally @#%$. Maybe the only way is to pray to jesus for a super fast techie, but i'm not sure if they exist.

Infil may actually be maxed out at 131, with possibility of 130. Forget about the max that only matters about you (127 or so).:(

:lol

Infil is just so easy, that's the thing.

Once you've gotten past the killer guards with a good bug throw, you're set. Anyway, here is some info:

Mission log, 1020- (or something)
Threw bug good
Got stuck on a guard
Didn't use 100% lookdown in tunnel
Best I've ever gone through the cage hole
35.5 shield
stuck on guard
Decent techie
52.4 lift press
106.5 bottom of ramp
really @#%$ strafing along catwalk. Stuck on gaurds everywhere (I hadn't played this section in a long, long time)
117.5 lift shut on me (not as good as my 132)
Good enough end. 130 wasn't missed. (edit: .40 decimal)
-4 tries (maybe 5)

edit2: omg btw I played this on a 34 cm TV with the gayest VCR ever to boot. Worst quality vid EVER! It shakes like ryan's old ones and the screen even goes fuzzy sometimes.

I watched the timer as I captured it, it's more like 1:02. I had messages in the way and saw it change to 1:04 while I was playing, so it stuck in my head.

I had two doors open, same as Wouter. Wouter had a 1:01 door though. I believe I gained time on him at the end.
