Punching Cass on MBR doesn't make her leave with better odds (that I know of). I punch her if I miss Mr Blonde's speech, because she'll instantly start saying her line after.

from my experience punching her a couple of times usually makes her run earlier.

Punching helps whether to skip Blonde's line or to get her to leave sooner on the average.

I THINK CHICAGO 0:15 SHOULD BE ON TOP BECAUSE I GOT IT AND IT'S SO @#%$ HARDZ0RZ OMGZ0RZ

I agree with you on everything there, except that Ruins 1:08 shouldn't be so on top. It's just that people think that the other pillar strat is soo hard when it isn't (Karl said something like that to me). The record itself is just a solid run.

for the top players, what is the percentage success rate for getting the mine right on Chicago agent?  For me its about 2% >:

Harv, when I was trying for 0:15, I think I had under 2% of mine accuracy. But it was more luck than skill, since you go extremely crazy and throw it as fast as you can.

On 0:16 speed, you can go up that... wall or whatever without strafing, so you can throw the mine more precisely and still get the time. Just throw it a bit high and to the very left. Shouldn't be hard.

From what I all remember, my 15 took 2 hours, had 2 16s in that session, so that's 3 times where the mine worked. 3 times in 2 hours, 2 tries in 1 minute (I guess), 120 minutes, 240 tries, 3/240 = 0,0125% accuracy..

I suppose you need to multiply that by 100 yet to get 1,25%, but you get the idea.

Like many PD levels my knowledge on Air Base PA is poor but sure it's interesting how it's still a 3 sec untied. YEs 2:09 looked so nice, I guess what Shade does better must be spread out everywhere throughout the run or something.

And frankly, I watched my 2:06 run again and there's a lot of stuff I do now that I didn't do then. Pretty much why I think 2:06 is kind of weak.

2:09 is certainly weak.... i would have had 2:10 if I didn't try to close the lift door, lost like 2.5 secs there. And I @#%$ suck at Air Base... 2:06 is a pretty solid overall run, though.

All my time lost on 2:09 was lost before I entered the base. I hate that part so much, especially on PA.

no Halvey, how can it be obvious when it's possibly 80 years left before OUR (not your) lives end?
just because I don't rise/PR fast, doesn't mean I won't be back on top eventually. it means I'm going for the really insane records first, therefor once I'm 1st again it will only make it tougher for anyone to overcome. as long as I can keep playing, there's no single doubt in my mind that I'll get my 1st place back, with a huge lead on top of that.
Do not underestimate the power that is NTSC. (or me)

I like having Bryan in first place because he is a polite, modest person, rather than an offensive and arrogant fuck like you are in a post like that. Sure, you might think you're the best player in the world (and even maybe you are), but stop rubbing it in to every single damn thing you say.

OF COURSE that wouter will be first, if he plays until the end of his life, a half brain monkey will
