Yeah it takes awhile to learn that method, but once you know how to do it then you just need to get a fast programmer which just requires some luck.

When I got sub 2 first time I thought it should have been faster, the run seemed so nice but then I realised I lost all the time on that programmer being slow.

Yay! Air Force One PA 1:28!

After getting insanely pissed off with SA, I decided to move on to PA, since the Pres's gayness isn't much of a problem there. After 30 minutes of playing, I got a 1:29 with some stuckage and bad stuff. Then I kept playing and after only four minutes, 1:28 came. It's an untied brazilian record as well, so I'm very satisfied with this time.

About fucking time. Had like 15+ 1:23s before that, 4 on this 1 hour session. Not the best of my runs, not the best Pres as well. :rolleyes

Nice Pres pushing though. I was lucky to get it, since this run was going to be my last try today.

Edit: passed Paragon in total SA points.

That's my score for real time. The game time is 38:44. Alll these times with the exception of Investigation I cut the cinema immediately.

Defection 47 - pretty normal run
Investigation 218 - normal
Extraction 148 - pretty decent with a noticeable mistake
Villa 135 - acceptable
Chicago 44 - not the best
G5 210 - normal (didn't watch more than minimal obj 2 cinema)
Infiltration 201 - not terrible
Rescue 229 - very pleased with this
Escape 352 - lost some time here
Air Base 156 - disguise strat
AF1 133 - scary ending, used 1 boost
Crash Site 149 - Lewis would laugh, but this is better than my agent run time by 1 second!
Pelagic II 227 - a little bit choked
Deep Sea 456 - bad Elvis (like 130ish), and then didn't pull off trick after 1st portal
Defense 159 - took far lift both ways, got Dev even though I didn't end up using it
Attack Ship 49 failed - @#%$ Elvis died (fell through the floor I think)
Attack Ship 325 - killed about every skedar that could possibly kill Elvis
Skedar 206 - about the worst pillar setup (3-4-5, worst being 2-4-5) and didn't want to risk restarting it

I'll try to do a PA run. Anything under an hour would be superb (real time) although I doubt I could do that in a long time. I'll just look for a reasonable completion.

PA runs are @#%$ awful... Villa is the most digusting level ever

That Rescue time is amazing!

Maybe if Greg comes up in the holidays I'll play it again... After I get Infil PA. I was going really well last night... but a certain luck factor NEVER came through

What kind of strat would you use for villa PA on a speed run? As in, where to get the snipers from etc.

*opens secret text file of PA speedrun strats he has*

Kill 2 guards, enter through top door, kill guards, go downstairs via outside, knock out guard, activate stuff, up through inside, stuff, end.

For those who don't know what it means: Kill the first two guards and those two snipers nearby. Go around the side of the building and kill that sniper, up the stairs and into the Villa through that door. Kill two guards, kill the 4 guards near the far PCs. Go back outside via the same door, downstairs, through the single door and punch out guard from behind. Then yeah. Activate stuff, back up through the inside of the Villa and do other things. End.

PA is probably harder to survive than 00A on GE, need some safe strats, most levels probably can't be done at all similar as the regular strats.

Defection 323 - programmer a min slow, missed landing on comp
Investigation 431 - no sure how Ryan can do better waiting a whole bot cycle =\, had about full health most of the run
Extraction 240 - nothing great about this one
Villa 427 - choked a sniper, took almost a whole minute to figure out where he was, and didn't do the right strat (forgot what I was doing)
Chicago 106 - not the best
G5 229 - ok (no cinema watching for meeting)
Infiltration 8 fail, screwed up the start and didn't want to be dead so fast
Infiltration 459 - took ending mega slow
Rescue 419 - slow ending
Escape 430 - blew up a mine with super dragon by accident, took it slower
Air Base 402 - might be the hardest level to not die on for PA
AF1 215 - like 150 when starting in the right spot
Crash Site 325 fail - died, used a @#%$ up strat (forgot what I was doing)
Crash Site 115 fail - died, really was stupid here
Crash Site 328 - did the strat right this time, wish Lewis could play this level for me
Pelagic II 15 fail
Pelagic II 328 - killed about every guard that needed to be killed
Deep Sea 348 - 130ish Elvis, ran the end guards
Defense 215 - very good
Attack Ship 452 - killed about every skedar that could possibly kill Elvis, as well as engine ones
Skedar 18 fail - whoops
Skedar 233 - 1-3-5, conservative jump

It's a shame Radix won't host it because of the defection glitch, this has really no sense... :rolleyes

(although you would have been faster on that run using the old-school strat

Though according to the rules you should do up to WAR! on PA, or maybe you don't get access to it like on GE Aztec and Egypt appears after beating all the other levels on 00A.

Anyways pretty nice even though you had a few deaths and fails but yeah this seems harder than 00A on GE, lets see if this will be done W/O deaths or fails.

Oh, and I don't care about SDA. I'll do my run how I want it, and it's Radix's loss if he doesn't want to host it because of glitches or whatnot.

Err I dont know how you suddenly come up with Radix and him hosting stuff.. he doesn't host the videos himself.

I'm just saying if you want to show it to a bigger public, SDA is the place to go, and you don't really want to get sort of a bad image by having a fail/death in the run. all simple logic, imo.
