I'm really starting to think I can get 0:27 without too much trouble. 28.93 end, I was like "Ah great, another 29 to my collection", but it didn't round up, to my surprise. Took one hour and a half because I kept missing the damn mine throw.

Yes, I'm 1.2.

You lost some time with that stop, but not 0.4 seconds. I think you could have climbed those small walls (after picking up the case) faster, you know, you changed strafe once, and I think that leftstrafe is better than right there.

I updated my PD times page finally. It gives me about a 114-rank gain in overall time. 2ish hours cut... might have picked up a few points, too.

Into the top 100 too after a few bad PRs last night.

Thanx and it only took me like 10 mins to get, lol.

I meant 2:12 but I do think I have a new trick that might get a new record for that one. When u start and run down the ramp and through the door into the hanger be in a left strafe. Shoot out the glass near the barrels and run through the barrels to jump the corner. This might save about 1 second on SA and PA. Someone else can give it a shot because I'm not good enough to get the WR.

It's been done before, I believe I used it on a 1:30/1:31 or so. Believe it or not, but right strafe is still faster. I'm not sure why, it could be because you're not looking at the entire hangar so it runs more smoothly, or because you turn corners faster when you're not facing them. Bryan and I were discussion the latter a few days ago and agreed that it's true.

I agreed it was true with myself when I suggested it. It's faster because there's no strafe change, and you still get to do a huge diagonal, just further down the track. You do it across the glass very close to the door.

Woah. I actually got a time that gave me points besides my Duel records.

My first one is Escape A 2:42. I tried to activate it before the music started, and had to come back to it.....after I activated the second one. Ouch.

My second one is one I'm kinda proud of. AF1 A 1:00. I didn't push the Pres at all, because I can't move that fast when killing the four guys at the end. I was going to push him but the boosts quit when I was running toward him.
I got some good ending doors, and it started the ending cinematic.

At 59.95. I hate rounding

After getting countless 1:02s on AF1 A (I don't know how I went fast enough to get my 1:00), I decided to screw Agent and go to Secret Agent. So I go through Air Base A, and get a new time for it. It's so bad though, I won't mention it.

And then I do AF1 SA. 4th try, and I get 1:31! I lost about 1.5-2 seconds pre-elevator, and a small bit because I missed skipping Carrington's "The President's room is on this level..." message. Got a good run through until I met Trent. The rightmost Mr. Blonde hit me TWICE before I could kill him. The leftmost one hit me once. But I had a good run after it.

So expect a better SA time from me, and maybe a better PA. But I have a question about AF1 PA. You don't escort the Pres to the escape pod at the end, you just place a laptop gun to protect him. How do you make sure he'll keep going and not stop to follow you when you go for the autopilot?

All you have to do is enter the room before the pod. The Pres will always go to the pod no matter what once you go through that door after the little stairs.

Woo! Thanks for the help. I tried a few AF1 PA runs.

My first run was good. I got the Pres close enough to the door so that I could run down the hallway without him calling security. Then I messed up pretty bad. I got by the Mr. Blondes over and over, making me lose about two seconds. Then I had a bad last few guards, and got some stuckage on a guard when going for the autopilot. My time was 1:44.

Then I tried a few more times. After about 10 more runs, I got a good Pres. He was close to the door and wouldn't call security. I made it past the next few rooms well, but when I got to the "four guards" part, I screwed up bad when I went downstairs. I missed opening the door and then when I tried to kill the last guard, I accidently reloaded. When I tried to place the sentry, I accidently reloaded again. I decided NOT to use the laptop gun for protection.
But I finished well. 1:39
