Bryan proves my point. His 3:05 is equal to 2:34 on PAL. He could have gotten an Elvis at least 7 seconds faster, and still manages to untie the NTSC WR by 4 seconds.

Dan, why would a PAL player play Invest, Extraction, Rescue, Air Base, AF1, CI, MBR, and Maian SA/PA? I mean, they can only get like 90 points on each level, so why bother? With your logic, if you were a PAL only player you'd only play half the levels and end up with 3000 points. In fact, you may as well not play at all because NTSC seems to have a slight advantage in every level (except DS and Maian).

90 points is alot more then 60 though, and most ntsc players will get extremely lower then 60, like me :b

Exactly, 60 points blows ass whereas 90 pts is competitive and respectable.

I don't see how it really makes a difference. The point is,  Bryan could easily go faster, and considering he could gain more points from going faster on this mission than any other, I can hardly see how it's not worth the time he puts in.

Maybe because elvis is tons more gay on ntsc, and he loves the pal players. This is surely the answer.;) :lol

Doesn't like my pal gamepack either ;)  when Lec played the other day he got like 2 elvis in 2h, completed 2:56 and 2:46. All over 1:00 Elvis. like 1:18.

Lec probably sucks at the start.  What's his TT after killing the cloak guards (near the skedar)?

Yeah I do suck at the start, but the additional lag due to playing through a cpu doesn't help either. I usually kill 3 guards at the beginning, then the other 4, and my TT there is about 31 avg, which is rather poor. My best is about 28

Elvis is still really t3h gay

Ok.  Every time I have a really good ending on Extraction, I have no shot at taking out the ship at the end and have to wait for it until I can see it.  Any suggestions?

I think there's some luck to it.  Obviously speed is a huge factor.  Just go out farther on helipad.  Just make sure to watch the shot and be near the middle when it connects.  I usually shoot it just to the right side of the X.

It's possible to shoot it from the left side of the X as well, but runs when you can are rare and it's harder to do while strafing.

I also had 2 shots on body guards.  I almost never get them in 1 set of bursts.  Yeah yeah, but I got other stuff to do first whenever I get the chance to play again.  Your endings own mine.

I think Ryan once said that 1:08 is the human max and it probably is, I even find it hard to do in slow motion.

I would say it's a semi-fluke at most just because I would have stopped at 109 for the mean time.  I knew I could get 108 with a fairly clean ending which I finally got.

Possible small timesaver for Air Base SA/PA:

After picking up suitcase and heading back to the elevator, like 5 feet or so before the elevator, pause, go to camspy. As you unpause be holding down so that the camspy move as soon as it can, then repause as soon as you can, go back to normal and into the elevator. Obviously, all of this would cause the elevator doors to shut like .4 or so earlier, at the expense of .1 or however long it takes you to pause twice.

It's probably not worth the effort of doing this, but I'm just putting it out here anyway.

Yeah, except it's real hard to tell since there aren't really any solid tt's to work with (picking up the camspy fucks the lift close tt, then using the camspy to open bottom door fucks the lift open tt :rolleyes )

Btw you should be moving the camspy backwards, not forwards... You could even take a TT (I assume you want the "in line with the door" TT)
