I'd just like to apologise for what happened in Elite Chat. I don't really know what came over me, but being demanded to prove myself again and again is tiresome to me these days. Sure, I don't have proof of Extraction PA, but why do people always have to think the worst and not the best case scenario? Anyway, I was out of order to talk like that and it won't happen again. In actual fact, its motivated me a great deal. When I get time I'm going to record a few runs for Perfect Dark and other N64 games I think I'm good at. I'm looking to get some great times on both Extraction and PII all difficulties, get them all a bit closer to perfect for my system, which should make for interesting viewing. It could be a while though because I want to get the most out of Resident Evil 4 on GC before I play.

Just like to say that I'd like to be completely removed from the page like Karl was. That way I won't be questioned whenever I claim a time, and none of my claims will matter. When I break some of the Elite records by a mile I will just post links to the video proof and not even say a single word and like Karl, my world records won't be affiliated with the-elite.net

I'm going to come to the same agreement with N64HS too because I'm fed up of people contacting me with questions about my records and them doubting everything I say when I can break them again and again effortlessly if I wish.

Its also good to have everything down anyway because you just become an anonymous soul that floats across the Internet in peace and quiet. I'm looking forward to this. What I will probably do is set up a website that hosts all of the vids so that people can see how bad they are at games in general.

You can't be removed from the Elite, thanks to the new privacy policy. If you don't want other people contacting you, simply change your contact info. Untaped times won't be questioned harshly if they're not on the WR page (they won't be), and taped times won't be questioned because they're proven.

So I have to look at myself slide down a set of rankings knowing that my times are @#%$. It just annoys me. I'd much rather have my times took down...

Or you could play/prove your times like you plan to and see yourself increase your rank.

Also, you could just not go to the page.

Yeah, Shade's sentence sums it up pretty much perfectly, I'm also very happy with how the new policy works in situations like this.

If you want to be both respected and never doubted, all it takes is to have a tape rolling as you PR from now on. And there's no need to set up your own page for the vids, I'll happy host anything you get made on my own server, like is being done with PD now. thengamer.com/PD

I am going to do a run of Mumbo's Mountain. Its early in the game so no stress getting good again on that stage. I have 5:46 now but I'm going to approach the stage fresh and find some new ideas hopefully. I'm a lot smarter with strategy these days so hopefully I can make a better time, hopefully around the 5:30 mark. Still not done with Res Evil 4 yet mind, I'm really enjoying just playing through it.
