hmm, a pretty damn good run, never stopped for anything (except data uplink part...) but i only messed up on that lost about 2 seconds, because i smashed B and then Z like 3 times...but it wouldnt connect! ahh well it finally did, and i made it out...that was my only mistake...stil 14 seconds off the WR! (2:05) im beggining to wonder how 2:05 is possible...

ech well i have had way faster runs but elvis dies...i took out most people in the way, elvis still dies...anyone know why elvis likes to die on fast runs ? it pisses me off. he dies right around when i get in the lift... (first one up to ending)

EDIT EDIT EDIT: can someone direct me to somewhere that has some WRs for NTSC? cuz i noticed some levels (maian SOS?) are affected by the lifts, and if i could time the lifts on NTSC i would get such a better time than 2:21 SA. I just want to know how i stack up against everyone else in NTSC on some levels

i hate chicago on A and PA but i am quite satisfied with that time...got end screenshot...tape...and tried to digital camera video it...but it took 4 times to get it all on...my dig.cam. doesn't hold long videos.
Had my first 0:30 Chicago PA failed run...(missed damn tracer bug...) and a few more failed 0:31...i will actually get one of those sometime, maybe this week if i feel like playing still...im just patiently waiting to get in the elite.

thanks...i know 0:31 chicago PA is sooo close, i have had about 3 different 0:30 runs and 20+ different 0:31 runs, all because i missed the tracer bug/remote mine.
dont ask about the remote mine...my control is really gay, and if i hold down Z, sometimes it releases before i get there... (really annoying...)
i tried for about an hour on Duel SA and still can't get 0:06!! i have had 2.89 Datadyne guards and spun around, perfect head shot on jonathon...still 0:07! i had at least 12 perfect 0:07 runs that i thought were 0:06

nothing big...

after playing PA on that level...running past everyone is a breeze (especially comms rider area...) but i have trouble making the lifts. just missed the first lift, but made it come back up before the door shut...and had to wait for the second lift as i was in full red health being shot at by 2 guys...

im gonna be in the elite soon...i emailed someone and they emailed me back and said they were gonna add me, just need to use a different name because Not so perfect dark is too many words. cant wait to be in, top 85 or maybe better i will be

Do the lifts run at random speeds or something? I got in the last lift right as it opened, but in Paragon's 2:17 vid, it's wide open before he gets there. I dunno, maybe I was just slow at the end.

lol...i got a 0:30 SA with like a 15.60 bombspy...my best bombspy was 14.14 it was such a weird run...when i started like normal, the guards werent in the right place, and i shot the barrel, as soon as i started to push the dumpster over there, it exploded...and the weird thing is, it made no noise. bombspy floated right to me...strange. but i failed that run cuz my Z button is gay, and i happened to let go of the mine too early somehow...
ohh yea, no new times really (good ones, anyway..)
Villa pA: 3:00
ahh used my same strat...it's not a sub 2:30 strat, but on a fast run it could get 2:40...i sucked horribly on my 3:00 and almost died at the end, had to reload on the last guy.

guess its time to work on stuff, since i cant skateboard (i hate rain)
anyways, after playing it really safe and only taking about 20 minutes on Attack Ship PA, i finally got sub 5.
Attack Ship PA: 4:53
believe it or not, after being almost 1:20 off the world record, and a really really slow run, that still gets me 27 or so points, and it dropped my time (whatever it is) down 6 minutes.
gonna work on that villa PA strat sometime with throwing the stupid laptop gun...havent tried it yet.
and...i thought i could get a new WR for Investigation A (like 1:25...)
but it seems the guards in the data uplink room wont open the door.
i can get it to work fine on other levels, but i disarm a guard and he will be right by the door and never open it...*sigh*

i got my 0:30 with a 15 something bombspy...and how the hell is 12 possible! thats fcking fast! i thought the absolute fastest was about a low 14...because i got that with no mistakes, and the bombspy floated to me the instant i blew the barrel up, and it was crazyness.

hmm...just came to post a new PR.
Infiltration PA: 3:10
now this run was so sweet.
it wasnt as fast as i hoped. but, the awesome thing is...i got to the first big lift with almost full red health. somehow i booked it up the ramp, past the guard, then past 4 more, and into an open lift , then ran out and around to end, without getting shot one time. ive made it there with more than half green health and still died. i guess im getting better. (or lucky)
and it only took 4 tries.

EDIT: now that i think about it, the insane paragon strat can make it the whole level without losing any life (or just a little)
i heard you can make it past the comms rider area without losing life. do the level like that, and you can book it past all the guards at the end. if you are lucky, you might actually be able to beat the level with near full life. i would try, but i cant seem to do the comms rider area, only on A/sA (yes ive tried it on agent before)

blah, getting better...almost full health going into lift 1, and not so good health into lift 2. plus i actually had to wait for lift 2 (only about 2-3 seconds) unlike on my 3:10 where it was already there. guess i better time cutscene about 2 seconds later. blah. (can probably get 2:55 if i do comms rider area faster...i kill almost everyone there...)

im almost satisfied with this. except the WR is under 2 minutes. well i dropped off 5+ minutes off my time, and got the 3-4-5 challenge done on that level...(18 out of 21...just need to complete WAR PA, but Deep sea im SOL. then i just need that damn investigation PA which i hate so much.)

edit: ok, scratch war off...2 more to go on 3-4-5.

and thats a 44 pointer? wow that was easy. took 2 tries, and it really sucked. i saw someones vid (paragon most likely) and they shot the skedar leader 3 from the doorway, well i ran halfway to him...hmm...i smell a 1:05 or less coming...

edit: ack didnt try for PA, but...

-3 seconds off my time...and +28 or so points. gonna go for A and PA now i guess...i really want that 0:27 A record. also, i noticed the lag at the beginning because the explosion...would the lookdown strat work? i tried it, but never pay attention to certain times etc. hmm who knows.

You need to wait out the cutscene until after you hear the explosion so the smoke will clear by the time you get to the hole.

My god, my hands were shaking after I got done with a 3:36 on PA. And I could have done much better. Well, thanks to SlayerRocket and SamSim for writing strats on this level. I'm still working on Agent and will probably improve SA as well.

EDIT: Yeah NSPD, I did change the strat a little, I shot the first interceptor with my magsec really fast and then used the rocket launcher on the third one so that I could get out of the area faster without those stupid guards shooting me off course. I was taking my time at the end because I had no life at all. That's why I didn't do quite as good as I could have. I would try for a faster time, but I need to work on some others like SOS. I was in the first lift at 2:00(for SOS), but I keep getting killed. If I can just get past that part I could make it.

blah, killersim7...the infiltration PA strat by samsim for 4 minutes, can get you under 3....i used his, with a little bit of changing, nothing big...and i got 3:07, but i have gotten runs where i was at the last lift at 2:40 or so, but i dont time it , so it isnt open, and i die

Infil PA is quite literally the gayness. I've had about 20 runs were I got to the end at about 1:59 ish but didn't destroy one of the feckin interceptor things... grrrrrr!!!! I had to settle on a (crappy) 2:20ish after almost 30 hours of playing this level (on and off) which I got on the gayest run EVER!!!! In conclusion. The 2:20 strat (basically do start fast, through minefield, do explosives and get keycard and then go down in the FAR lift) probably isn't much harder than what you're doing now so you should probably try that instead of the 3:00 one.

woo hoo like 2 points. gay time. gay level. ach, i have my own strat, little weird too...but it works, although it shoulda been 3:10 or so, but im satisfied with this. anyways, i think i should try the infiltration PA strat now, and get like 2:45 at least, then im gonna give up on PD until im officially in the elite. waiting for email from zeebo, gonna send him some proof, including: War SA 0:55, War PA: 1:01, Infiltration A: 1:16, Chicago 0:30 (might not be able to get again...had a 0:31 though), g5 LTK 1:12, and maybe more who knows.

when im in the elite, i want to have a rival/be in a rivalry thing. just want some competition from someone who is my level...seems like most of you are better than me.

so i wont post until i am in the elite (or if i get a better Infil PA time, or something else important...but basically, no PRs (cept infil))

actually, my next 'challenge' is getting 300 points on a level. obviously, Duel, since i have 200+ (200 for A SA, and like 40 i think for pA)
im getting good...i played multi last night, me VS 8 perfct sims, all cmp150s, in the felicity, one hit kills. first try, won 30-0, not bad.

edit: can someone give me the order you do things on rescue SA for a good sub 2:45 strat; i have 2:51, and i am flying through, but still i dont see how sub 2:40 is possible.

made up my own strat...not a hard level, really.
and plus...minus *almost* 2 minutes off PA time, and total time...so i think i should move up a spot or two. or three. actually like 5 lol. but who cares. everyone quit. except me.

just did some optimizing. i wonder if you can actually run through the end drones? i made it past the first, but died on the second...if so, i bet i can get 4:20 or less if i tried hard.

now my SA time is under 44:40 and my total time, is nearing the 2:20:30 mark. soon i should be under 2:00:00 total time (yea, right!)

well, im aruond 80 on time now, just behing iggy, by less than a minute. and im moving faster too.

3-4-5 is totally complete (20/21 levels, deep sea being an exception)
gained a few points, lost 8 seconds on that

if i can run past the stupid drones at the end, i can get 4:10 or so.

edit: iggy, you should play some more...me, you, killersim7, and bizichyld if he still wants, we can have a little rivalry, and maybe more if they want.
