Hi guys!

I've being playing perfect dark for ages and I've only recently started going for fast times. I've also just switched to control style 1.2 (from 1.1) and I'm improving already. Can you guys please give me some tips to make the change smoother?

Cheers:)

I don't like you because you type like a fucking faggot.  You're probably someone gay like Kingpin.

Merry Christmas.

Ahhh come on.  That's a bit harsh renem.

Errr... play loads.  Do all the multi challenges, do all of perfect agent etc etc.  With practice you'll get better.

Seeing as you asked so nicely...:smokin

To be good at 1.2 you need to remember these things:

Don't let go of c-up! NEVER! (unless absolutely neccessary). If you're in a lift, waiting to leave, you're holding it. Dig?

It's better to stay on the same strafe than switch at corners.

Try and work out a way to press B and A without letting go of the c buttons or the control stick. Try curling your right index finger over. If you can't, make sure you move your control stick finger, not the c-buttons finger.

You'll be a currilicious pro in no time. Maybe.

thanks for helping me out , ive noticed the difference 1.2 makes already though the only problem is that it is harder to start running backwards when someone is trying to disarm you. oh well, thanks anyway:D

It's useful for Infil SA after throwing the bug from a distance for sure.  There are other spots in the game where backing up is important, but that's the one that comes out first.

Food... I can see why you won't like this approach. But there is a freeforall forum. People can call people gay there. But surely NO ONE wants to hear cuben and contestation going at it calling each other gay. I'll let some majority decide. *makes topic*

No, Chris did not tell me exact rules.

See, now this was the point I was trying to make in the voting topic. That reply by renemesis was funny, I don't care what you say, and if the newbie sticks around long enough to climb the Elite ranks, he can gain his respect and this won't happen anymore, or he will learn not to take such flames too seriously. At this point, however, it's just comic relief.

Edit: Hmm, should have read the entire topic first. Doesn't mather though, renemesis' reply was valid before as well as after the edit :b

Pwned. But let me get this straight, Matt is calling himself gay? :p

Matt, don't be an idiot, stop editing posts just because people call each other gay. Only edit things that really, REALLY need editing...

No, Matt: saying people shouldn't call each other gay here, but then turning around and editing a post to make it look like someone called himself gay is quite hypocritical.  That's what FFA is for.

And, yeah, it does make it seem like you called yourself gay, but I know what you really meant.  I hope.

damn Food, go look for your brains, because you can't have had any when posting the previous..

Notice Dark0's post? Click the "Edited By Jugador" link. It links to tubgirl. Dark0 put it in there himself on purpose, obviously.

In conclusion, Matt didn't edit Dark0's post, neither did he use the word gay. Therefor, he wasn't being a "hyopcrite |I "
