For SOS in general, you should get 20 sec endings from when the last lift is closed. Try right strafing into the lift as it opens so you get out faster. Maybe that will help.

PAL is more like a 21 ending =\

Anyway, my Defense TTs:

*7ish 1st lift hard to see exactly but I suppose 7.1 or 7.2

*18.4 or 18.5 2nd lift.. depends on when you call it totally closed.

*high 37 uplink.

*high 45 end uplink. (not sure about these decimals but I think it was higher than 45.75 =P)

*a few pauses at end, 53.90 finish.

Yeah, I did the pausing thing on my 53.93. All it involves is pausing constantly once in the last room while looking down. If you skip a sound or something don't unpause right away then unpause and continue.

For my duel SA 6.98, I'm not even sure if that was the end time, I didn't tape it but thats what I thought it was, so there's really nothing I can say about this.

nice work bryan.. ur Infil end was really good. after i saw u got the 1:13, i tried a lil bit at it.. in like 15 min i got the 1st lift closed at 37.8.. then i realized how much i suck at strafing - ended with 1:14.50 :lol

as u can see, the run sucked a lot.. but just like at Dman's 53, my end was friggin lucky.. Obj. 1 completed right away, when i got into the RPC room. and i got 2 boosts from the guard.. this could've been like 53.6 or something, cuz, as usual, i was slow to connect the uplink (i guess). anyway, i've gain 10 pts with that.. so yay.

this was easier than i thought.. around 1h from 1:32 to 1:30. i think that my painfull 2h30 of this level on A were actually good for something

i also got a backboost after gettin the RCP.

when Shade got his 1:30, he said that "no way 1:29 can be done".. with a good 3rd panel (which saves .6), plus some nice hostage rooms (saving more .1 or .2), and no backboost at the end (prolly more .2).. do the math = 1:29.80. yea it's like awfull hard to get, but someone crazy could try it.

damn.. I must really suck at defense. Vitor, did you cloak???
It seems for me I get 43 lifts now and then, I figured why my 2nd lift closed so much later so often (cutting intro at once will have the 2nd lift just going open, and thus it will be slower when closing because it was already moving but the wrong direction). So now I just wait a few more seconds before I cut the intro. That was why I couldn't get 11.5ish differences from 1st lift closed to 2nd lift.. I was getting like a sec slower even. I still don't know what I do wrong at the end.. It should take the same time every time, but with 1:15 uplink it still gives me 1:32s =\ bastard level. I bet I've had 1:17 uplink which got me 1:32s just to annoy me. who knows.

that's weird wouter.. my end is between 16.0 to 16.3 at max. and i didnt cloak at all, neither before or after the uplink. if u use it, it might be a reason for that weird slowness.

I've had a fast run where I didn't cloak, but at the final end, where I had finished uploading and ran to the end there was this guy on the way he shot the hell out of me =( dead time halfway the road: 1:31
so.. about 4 sec to go from there, and I think I took 5 sec to die =(

After messing up a 1:38.00 lift and perfect ending by just not pressing the computer (which could have gotten me 1:57), and a shitload of 1:59s, I finally got 1:58.

1st door: 17.7
2nd door back: 40.9
hangar: 55.5
lift closed: 1:14.98

end time at about 1:56.6

MBR SA 1:27:

hmm.. this was totally unexpected. took exactly 4 tries.. at the 2nd try i got a 1:29 and almost stopped there.. but then, 2 more tries and booyah. the run was preety smooth (i used the slow strat: waits for 2nd lift), cass was perfect excepting for a 2s stuck at the door after the stairs. i didnt get it taped, cuz as i said, it was unexpected. i taped the endscreen, though.. anyway, i'll try Agent tomorrow, and of course i'll tape it.

btw, lec got 1:26.. but since it's not official (even if many ppl know about it), im takin this as a wr.

CI PA 1:53* (.55)

I decided to go for it for the points actually and felt confident in my strafing over the last day, and it turned out not to be a big deal at all. I had some tenths lost here and there and a somewhat slow obj 2 appearance as well, but assure you I won't go for 1:52 anytime soon unless something comes up (is thinking about 1:29 a little though...). I don't use DMan's strat as you may know, but instead going into Devastator room first. In my opinion, it is a more consistent strat, but you have to kill shield guards. I couldn't pull off DMan strat anywhere near fast because the lift would never be at the top and the Devastator wouldn't appear much, but anyways...

26.00 - obj 1 fade
40.6x - lift 1 closed going up
48.55 - pick up Devastator
1:00.48 - obj 4 appears
1:05.7x - lift closed going down
1:14.31 - obj 2 appears (it was almost a sec slow since one of the guards didn't die right away I guess)

MBR A 1:23*

- 2nd lift closed at 35.3 (best = 34.7)
- the alarm sounded before i punched cass, but didnt make any difference
- the bitch was really fast, no stuck at all.. maybe i was slow at pushing her at some parts, but whatever

ok now. About my MBR SA 1:25....

Disarming - 44.01 (43.2 is my best) I missed the 2nd speech skip on this run. $:\$

Cass leaving her office - 50.15 (best is like 48.xx at least) btw, the brown door leading to the stairs outside of her office was closed. I had it almost all the way open before she got there though, so I don't think it wasted much time at all.

Cass going through door at the top of the stairway - 1:01.72 (best is 58.xx [btw, the run that I got my best was AWESOME, but of course it didn't complete. duh]

Cass hitting the bottom of the ramp going to the helipad - 1:18 - 1:19. This is an estimate because I picked up an N-bomb. (best is unkown. probably 1:16 - 1:17 or so) Getting cass up the stairs on this run was pretty much flawless as far as I can tell.

I've had better runs, but this was pretty good overall and I'm happy for now. Mostly cuz it was a bitch, even with the small mistakes. :lol

Rescue A 1:30*

So after SA was being gay, I get all the breaks here. :rollin

Anyways, onto the important stuff.

7.8x - lift 1 closed
26.9x - lift 2 closed
42.06 - disguise
52.78 - guard speaks
1:01.95 - keycard 1
1:16.70 - lab access message
1:27.53 - keycard 2

I had the open door after the first keycard back by where you get the disguise and got through there cleanly. The only blemishes after a somewhat bad lift 2 really are not a great disguise location and a stuck on a guard for around .5 sec before the open door. Shade already has this time in case anyone didn't know.

lame question: at the end of AF1 SA, u just kill all the guards and push the pres, or u throw the laptop somewhere? cuz when ur pushing the pres there's a guard on the way.. someone could explain this to me, cuz i want 1:22.

also, for Escape SA (PA too) is there any really good spot to throw the remote mines or the Medpack is just random? i've got like 5 1:50 jon's today (had 1:52 on my SA 3:34), and the @#%$ medpack wasnt fast ONCE. i throw one somewhere between Jon and the place where u get the remote mines, and other next to the door where u stay and kill guards. i'll appreciate who helps

I'm dumb on Escape so don't ask me much about that level.

AF1, you want to get 51.7 - 52.2 cinema and take everyone out of course using boosts at top of ramp before timed mine. After you take out the last guard, throw your laptop against one of the things that sticks out of the wall so the laptop has a better angle to take out the guard. If that guard is alive in any way, shape, or form, I assure you the Pres will stop like he got hit, even if the guard doesn't shoot directly at him.

I didn't push the Pres much at all since I just waited until he came down the stairs. It takes a long time to get a good Pres. I kept getting gay Pres that would yield 1:27-1:30.

for escape sa&pa i think you have to kill a certain amount of guys for the medpack to work, so in other words some guards need to know what a remote mine feels like.

on invest, is there any difference between the A/SA ending? cuz i can get like 41.0 on A, but on SA i only get about 42.3 or so, and i do the same thing on both. also, using the camspy while uploading is any helpful or it's just to avoid being shot by the guards?
