Truly Ace Infiltration PA Strat:

Edit: I changed the strat completely. This will not work for ntsc.


System: PAL

Quit the cinema a bit after "watch out for these guards".

Get both grenades, run down to the bottom, disarm that guy. Throw a grenade at the first robot, pull the pin as early as possible. As soon as you've thrown it hold Z down again. Press the button then run to the other robot. Throw grenade, pause, get out comms rider, throw it from right in front.

Back on the black, your TT will be: (prepare for shock if you're in the know)

32 (paragon had 37 or 38.)  < - edit: pwned by ezboard

Run past the badass guards by looking down. Get the RL. 3 round burst the guy near the hole if he is there for a grenade. If he ain't there your up @#%$ creek. RL the robot then get the techie. TT for pressing button = 49 - 50.

Do stuff, lift shutting 102 - 104.

Finish as best you can. TT 144 - 147. Last lift will open at 129 about.

I'll do this strat ASAP

I've known that faster start for ages, but never tried to pr with it. Good luck anyway :P

So uhh...do the SA strat, but use the 2 grenades at the start to take out the interceptors right away, then continue SA way with bug.  Sounds good to me; dunno how hard it is to survive, but it probably works (I'm not sure about lift timing or anything...I assume you figured that all out).

If I get PAL, I might give that a try.

You can also go:

throw first grenade, pull second, press button, throw grenade over structure, throw comms rider... but it doesn't seem to have any benefit, but you'd think it would be faster, right?

My memory has surely faded... But what's the problem on NTSC?  If you're 5 seconds faster or whatever doing the comms rider area, what's wrong with that?  I barely made the elevator as it closed on my run, so now you'll get there just as it opens... The third grenade carrying guard can be waiting for you regardless of any timing.

All that's left is the technician.  He's triggered by the comms rider and his position is determined by the cutscene... Sounds like you're doing the comms rider last now (instead of interceptor, attach, interceptor) so maybe wait a bit more in the cutscene?  And doing that won't mess up the final elevator - as already mentioned - if you're planning for faster...

I'll test it out in 3 months.
