Anyways, yeah that 25 vid is faked. I don't have an action replay or gameshark so I used a video editing program at school to change the 26 to a 25 each frame at a time. Then I had to play for 10 hours and get a 25 speed run to make it look like I actually got it. The tricky party was getting a 25 speed run that matched the end screen I already made, took me a while.

Hmm....btw, not that you're wrong, the vid is indeed faked. But how come when I play the vid through media player the vid starts at like 6.8 then just before the vid cuts out you can tell the level has finished (the screen freezes like it does when you finish any level) at like 32.7.......

BTW, aren't you wondering why the vid cuts out?

Media Player isn't exact, and doesn't keep track of frame placement to 1/100 second; hence why I ran this analysis in a program that does.

Yeah, fuck this, it was funny for about 1 hour then I realise how pathetic some people are.

I didn't actually fucking fake the time, you fucking morons. The reason the vid cuts out is because it didn't cross my mind that the run could be 25, and I wanted to see how low a 26 it was. I stopped the tape so I could play it and watch it to see the decimal, but to my suprise 25 came up. I had probably about 15 26's that were less than 26.3 that looked pretty much the same as this run, and I thought I needed something really special for 25 but I didn't.

Now some fag's trying to 'techincally' disprove it by using a program to unlock the mystery by studying the .WMV file as if that's the actual run itself. Besides the fact that when I view the run on anything (wmp, realplayer, windows movie maker) the time always ends up being 25.9. Then you've got this fucking great idea that omg the 25 is rounded. It makes me wonder, actually no it doesn't, because it's fucking obvious this guy didn't even think to look at a proper fucking 6 and realise the structure is COMPLETELY different to a 5. Nor had he ever thought it through his genious head to look at another 5 on a non-contreversial vid to realise the 5's look identically.

The only person who actually made it apparent they had a brain here was samsim who isn't fucking too blind to see that the timer was high 23.9 when the message came up (meaning it would have had to have been high 25).

It seems kind of stupid to have a 20 second endscreen if it was my plan to edit each individual fucking frame. Not that I could even imagine how to do it given I'd have to accompany for the lighting effects and @#%$ going on in the background.

With everything combined, my word, the vid showing the time must have been high 25, the endscreen matching the run exactly, my explanation, the fact that there is absolutely no reason why the endscreen should be cut and pasted seeing as I'm such a fucking graphic artist anyways. Obviously if I was trying to make it believable I would have cut a vid at the same point as the other vid stopped not 4 seconds later.

Yet there are still dumbasses who question it.

I'm gonna get it again with ntsc anyway and this time not stop the vcr. But in conclusion the mods saw this the day after I got and no one questioned it, funny how people wonder why I don't give vids out to the general public.

You asked for the fucking vid and I gave it to you, as screwed up as it looks it's the real deal. When you recieve it, you praise it, maybe if you're feeling sassy you give my ass a nice pash, but I don't think immediately claiming it to false (especially seeing that the users of this board have me in low regard as it is) is the best way to make a good impression. Especially when you're the ones asking for the fucking vids. I'm doing YOU a favour, not the other way around.

I like giving vids out and people being amazed at the run, and getting some praise is always sweet for your hard work. When people appreciate one's skill it really makes a difference.

I've had ZERO compliments about the run, instead I'm faced with posts from a moron who just realised THE FUCKING FIVE IS CURVED!

The stupidity of SadisticMystic1 is quite remarkable, he STILL has not seen what a 6 looks like.

Oh yeah, one tiny detail you forgot to think about, or maybe you just wouldn't know because you're a fucking n00b. The corners on ntsc are basically square (not completely though) while the corners on pal are a lot more curved.

@ SadisticMystic. Which is more plausible? That the video was edited - which would require video-editing skillz worthy of a Hollywood digital animator - or that he got the time? A video of this low quality you can't analyse like this. For heaven's sake, encoding any video results in loss of data.
