Great job with the recent WR's guys. I'm sure most of the agent WR's are maxed now.  :)
Embrace the grind.

I still think PAL is dissadvantaged on Facility, harder to warp doors and sloppier to play overall so that's probably the most impressive thing ever.

I believe rayans achievements are still more insane in PD, in which he has to cope with much more PAL disadvantages than in GE. great job though, ace! keep it up.

wow nice records guys, With the recent activity of Ryan's frigate times going to 1:03 and 1:11, Rayan Isran is now tied with boss at 14 seonds a piece.  This is the first time Byran has had to share the MVP top spot.

Great job on 37 and 45. I expected 37 to get tied a bit sooner, but it's done now anyway.

On a side note, shouldn't the mods delete Ryan White's fake WR posts?

nice job on the 37, smart stuff to use the last drone to boost your nade.  If you want to go insane, you can use the second drone to boost a nade to hit the third drone, and take a more direct angle to the end for 36, possibly 35.  I warn you though, timing the nade on the second drone so that it has time to boost you can be tricky to do consistently, cuz it has to blow up "late" allowing you to quickly turn and pray to jeebus you can line up the second nade to hit the second drone PERFECTLY so that it blows up instantly, just like you did for the missile battery.  If you don't hit it perfectly you'll get back/side boosted by it, killing your chances of priming the last nade to hit the last drone quickly enough.  Oh yeah, I forgot that the guards are also way more gay doing this ;)

I may or may not have tried this "a bunch" ;)

I spent about 10-15 hours, back when I was getting those other records, working on runway hardcore to see if I could work it out consistently.  It might be a bit easier with 1.1, which I think you used?  either way, I have vides of me doing it, but getting gayed and stuff by guards.  Oh yeah, I only hit the 3 drone perfectly ONCE in that span of time.  It also happened to be my first try....which is probly why I got owwwwwnnnned by my inexperience at priming the nade for the missile :/

I do have vids showing how to effectively hit the second drone, in order to setup for the third drone.  I have vids also showing me getting my nade boosted and hitting that third drone perfectly, if you  REALLY want to try....It has a "possibility" of 35, but in reality, if you compare the boosted nade to hit the third drone, as opposed to hitting the missile battery with a boosted nade, it only shaves off a small amount of time.

Anyways, I WAS planning on playing this to death in order to get it some century, but I just don't feel like playing GE again for a while :P

Have fun trying to go insane folks!

the 37, more often 38, nade strat isn't THAT hard once you put a little effort into it, but it does look pretty cool ;)   Yours is a good example, as well as boss's of course.:rolleyes

my criticism with 'MVP' is..

Quote
Quote:
The Goldeneye MVP Rankings exist to reward the achievements of those who have been Most Valuable in lowering The Elite's combined "total time" for Goldeneye by setting untied world records.

I have been VERY valuable for the elite's total time and so have some other people. this ranking hardly means shit.

37 is mearly just a better version of S2 49.  Once you understand how to do the difficult objective/objectives, it's just a matter of patience for the run to complete properly.  Given that Bozon doesn't even have Depot 26, can safely say 37 is not that good of a WR relative to most of the current WRs.  He didn't really take that much longer than me to get it from 38 either and especially after getting a new controller.

- 2:0 in beginning

- Fast glass, I've had faster though

- 2:0 leaving glass

- Lazer guards boosts me into crate at the end, .6 stuck at least.

I knew I had a shot at this still though since my luring glass guards part and everything else was great, couldn't have got lower anyway, I'm pretty sure.

Still though it's THE END in any case like I said.

I've repeated that several times and I have to, I'll have to make it into an mantra off some sort (repeating "THE END Aztec A" in my mind) because I don't ever wanna go into that level again trying for lower :p

But seriously, that's one of the most awesome times ever, And i really hope it'll stay untied for years(Though that prolly won't happen with todays competition :P)

Has illu or rayan passed bryan on the proven ranks yet?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Rayan will be within 50 points of Bryan by New-Years.

He's missing 32 points on Egypt, 30 on S2 and 18 on dam A.
