Really ridic boostage on the 112, nice job on riding that home safely Jezz, if you go more towards the middle of the road you could save another .1 or so but then maybe you would not gotten that final boost.

To everyone saying that webcammed video isn't acceptable... I think we should bring up proof policy issues for discussion now that the times have changed. The policy was written in 2012 when there were no WRs with over 50 ties. I'd be all for making exceptions for WRs with 50+ ties not requiring captured proof. There really is no need for it.

I was unclear.

My point is nobody likes webcam. Just pointing out we at least say TRY to capture every run. I agree with keeping the 53.

Thanks Goose. I'm currently working on my setup so I can provide "quality proof". I really felt I was going to get 53 after the 20-30 hours I put in, and at this time that is the only way to capture it. I'd rather have this than nothing at all, i'm proud nonetheless. I don't want to start any controversy or anything.

I think the Proof Policy is way too black'n'white and only takes the TIMES into account, and not PLAYERS.

A "reputation" system would be really good to forgive players when they have technology issues on basic times, even though they do strive for good proof quality. On the current system, if someone gets decent framerate webcam Dam 53 and Runway 22, and then proceeds to get better times with decent proof, the first two ones get backrolled, and IMO it shouldn't be like that.

And yeah, let's be real, with the advent of the twitch era and new players, a time being a "WR" does not mean that it's automatically "significant" under the proof policy demands. 53/22/47 are way more basic than a bunch of 90- or even 85-pointers, but they're currently treated as more significant proof-wise.

I just read Flicker's post. The 53 has good enough proof yeah, but weren't other 53's and 22's (I think redscreens' 53?) backrolled or proofcalled because of webcam?

Lemon if you need a dazzle or anything and can't one send me a pm of your address and I will send you one. It may take a month for you to get it though because I will order it and then mail it to you. No one should have to worry about not being able to grind out a significant time just because they don't have a capture card.

that run was NUTTILY close to 1:11. 4:06.++ minefield barrier. 3:56.like3 or 4 or 5 BA pickup. Yeah maybe if it's KF7 last set, especially with the boost into the BA, this is 1:11.
