It hasn't updated on RareWRs yet, but with B1 16, Karl overtakes Boss in the total all-time tally of Agent WRs with 64, to go into second place (behind Wouter). The last time Wouter and Boss did not hold the top two spots for WR tallies on any of the three difficulties was on the 11th of June 2004, a total of 14 years, 2 months and 23 days ago.

To put this is perspective, over this period we have seen:

Three US Presidents

Two Pope appointments and one resignation

4 FIFA World Cups

Michael Phelps wins 23 Olympic gold medals over four games

Jack Dorsey sends the first tweet

Steve Jobs unveils the iPhone

Steven Zwartjes reveals the one guard glass open strat

Osama Bin Laden is killed

Fidel Castro resigns as President of Cuba

World economy undergoes Great Recession

End of an era.

Yes, it allows you to take a more direct line to the glass (past the crates) compared to strats where you need to avoid getting stuck on Boris [Karl's great analysis video].

We need a breakdown of stuff like

- how many people lost a WR
- how many people lost their only WR
- pretty much the same breakdown Icy did when Karl got Dam 52

We need a breakdown of stuff

Some facts:
- 123 people lost WR (-369 points total)
- 19 people lost their only WR
- Germany lost its only WR
- leaves only a single record set by Wouter (Frig A)
- only 3 people left with 20+ GE WRs (last time that happened was 2014 I think)
- Karl passes Luke in WR count (Dam 52 got him past Bauer, quite interesting to look at now)
- Joris will become champ
- Karl passes Boss for total GE Agent WRs
- Karl's 150th Rare Agent WR
- boring 4 is now boring 1

People losing only WR: Glen Stevens, Matthijs Triep, Arnold Navilite, Cliff Hampton, Greg Woll, Axel Zakrisson, David Witten, Adam Moore, Alka Maass, David Silverlind, Chris Cinicola, Erik H., Chad H, Hedson de Carvalho Soares, Madoka Kaname, Laren Spear, Michael Lightbody, Charles Bayard, Nikolaj Sørensen
51 people now have only a single WR left. 48 have Runway A 22, two have Cradle A 34 and one has Surface 1 A 102.

Another truly remarkable fact is that no person currently has at least half of the GE WRs. Karl's untied didn't cause this (Haydos' Egypt 00 did), so I didn't list it above. I didn't do a completely thorough check, but the most recent date I found with this being the case was mid 1999. With Zwartjes removed, it might actually never have been the case before in recorded GE history. But again, I didn't check this very thoroughly.

- 122 people lost WR (-366 points total)

Make it 123 and -369, because I got 17 just a few hours before Karl on the same day (thus why it doesn't show 124 people on Sep. 2nd)

I did consider you. I went by the number of 17s listed here, so unless they are missing a WR, 123 people had B1 17, including Karl.

E: There actually is a WR missing from the WRDB (see here), I have corrected my original post. Thanks for the catch, Josh!

I generally lurk here but I'd like to point out that with the Cradle 33, there are 20 active untieds on the rankings at the moment. It's at the very least the highest amount since I started following the-elite, and probably the first time in a good number of years that a third of the WRs are untieds.

Massive congratulations to TimTamz and to everyone who is making this game so fun to follow lately!

Could someone please explain how, on the recent Cradle 33's, the console is destroyed? I've watched the vids and can't see how it's done. Is it a case of just run through and hope a guard throws a grenade in the right place? Anything else I'm missing that's made this possible? Thanks in advance for any replies.

If you wait a certain amount of time, Trev has a ~30% chance to pull a nade. When you kill him, he will drop it, and if he falls the right way he can drop it close enough to the console that it will be destroyed when the nade goes off without you having to shoot the console at all.

not with this trev nade strat, it wont work on LTK, i tried for awhile and found that he never drops a grenade when he has no health and is set to run to the bottom of the level.

Congrats to all the mates who got 33s these days! Most people probably think that this is a case of "grind it out and get the WR by default" but I found that you gotta be very clutch to get consistent 33 speed and plenty of obj.B/hour ... had a couple of 34 SA (failed A) yesterday with no apparent time loss and couldn't fail 33 (no JAP-aim though). Going for 33 on SA or 00A seems very intimidating as you might end up with a lot of low 34 completions.
