Yeah that was an amazing run, really clever strats, definitely one of the best LTK runs I've ever watched.

Dean, I tried that a few times but Doak kept refusing to be in the lab section near the end on Facility and I kept dieing when I went to look for him so I gave up. I was hoping I could get up to Surface 1 or perhaps Silo if I got lucky.

For me, Runway (timed mine strat) and Bunker 1 are quite easy to do first go, Dam and Facility can be done first go with a bit of luck, Surface 1 is maybe possible first try with a safer strat but Silo's difficult so I think that's the furthest I would ever get.

For a single run... i actually tried this right around when i completed all of the levels... i have some recorded on tape... never finished it all, that would be ridiculous, but the furthest i ever got was to silo.. did that once.. i got past runway i think 20+ times, got past surface 1 ... once... then bunker 1 is cake ... each level had horrible times... when i got to silo it was like 10 minute dam, 1:45 facility, 1:20ish runway.. surface 1 was around 2:30 .. then i died not a minute into silo... i thought maybe i was the first person to do the first row of levels but never knew ... i asked garrett and he said that he got past runway once just messing around but thought it was way to impossible.

damn isnt to bad if you know strats... facility... with good doak is cake... runway, isnt to bad... problems occure when you get to surface 1... luckily bunker is right after that (bunker 1 you can take all the time you want) then silo is ridiculous to do on your first try... my overall goal was to get through the 2nd group of levels but that would be rough... but yeah i spent maybe 2 days trying to do this... dam facility and runway takes about 15 minutes on average overall << which is all easy until surface.. so that ruins everything.

you guys are not just doing a full ltk speedrun, but a more specific one: without deads. it can still be a good speedrun if there's some deads.

If you don't mind me dieing a lot then I might try a full 20 level speedrun on this sometime. There are still some levels that I have hardly played on LTK so maybe when I've had chance to play them more I'll give this a go.

Well glad to hear on that, I made it to runway on my first try when I came up with a no death ltk ss. Doak was in the best spot too. But thinking about the ss ltk is possible but a few levels would be based on mostly luck especially if your going for no death speed run(ie surface1, streets, control imo)

Silo 7:22 finally completed this level after about 30-40 tries in overall total. The part that always got me was towards the cam room the three guys behind metal crates I'd have to open the door to them then back strafe to the previous door and play hide and seek with these asses.

yeah on that level i had to open and close doors real fast. even if a SS ltk run was dun it would be so boring to watch since every level would be taken so cautiously

You know if a ss ltk no death was completed I'd watch it even if it took say 6 hours. Just how I've watched Illu's Dam dltk vid about 6 times.

caverns.. yeah garrett has a 3:17, is how this is done is basically you have to outrun trev the entire run so trea it as a 00 agent run until you get a lil ways past the spiral until you have reached the long hall. my times in the 7 minutes... could do way better yes... i have died on some 4 minute paced times but i looked at it this way... 7 minute pace time... complete once every hour at least... 4 minute pace time... complete once a month lol

Beating trev to the start of the spiral is very hard for me. Well actually I've never done it. Even with killing the 1st 4 guards before alerting Trev I don' think I can do it.

What a crappy basement, lost 11 seconds by the computer (guards wouldnt come out) and missed some guard, I guess 2:13-2:14 is possible.

Need a strat for the computer area, then this can go way lower. Maybe watching cinema helps or just fire like hell with KF7. Oh well, sub 220 is kinda neat.

More like it, but I still lost a bit of time in the computer area, especially a 1 sec door stuck leaving

. I missed a guard in there so for whatever reason i tried to shut the door so he couldnt follow me , lol, instead closed myself in and had to reopen it...ending was pretty weak as well so I lost 216 there. I had the most insane run ever to the computer area here though....might take a while to get a run like that. Might try for lower.
