If you got 3:57 with that run it would have surpassed Dam 117 and Jungle 54 as most insane untied WR vid of all time. Like a 19 or 20 sec exit? No guarantee Nat escapes if you get there faster anyways... good thing A Complete didn't show up though lol.

REALLY NICE quality for Black & White as well. :thumb:

i didnt time it but it was probably a mid or high 18 exit

i dont see how the way you do the first room not following nat is faster... i think it just makes the music better but in mission time it isnt any faster, at least from my experiences. in any case that run might have been fast enough to complete 357.

High 17 exit according to WSplit. It might not be that accurate but I don't think it was worse than low 18. I guess it would have been 3:57 with a quick ending though. Nice start, except for the somewhat crappy glass. :P

Do you ever get super fast low 17 endings with that end strat though? I remember getting some flat 17 exits, like my 358 dupe online, pretty sure that ending was faster than what marc's strat usuaully gives which makes 357 tough, but when A completes 1/50 it sucks

So i guess going for an insane run and 18 exit is the optimal way. Really sucks that on my insane 357 fails i didnt know about this ending strat :-[

Yea yea we've heard this before, we all know you'll end up using my strat for first room as well

Anything lower than high 17 exit has such garbage consistency, so i think on runs that are just barely 357 pace, you should risk it and go for like mid 17 depending on how the run is. You could simply go away from the table instantly when she moves, or run against the other table to the left.

Finally I get better at the beginning, compared to my other Archives videos, back in the day I still used a camera.

Only, I took the turn after stairs too wide, and the door to Natalya. The rest is very good.
I actually haven't expected a good library (except a few centimeters before Natalya).
Sweet boost at the end.
But this is not my best 0:17, the bad strafing to Natalaya and wide turn, that's why, but the rest is better than before.
Will upload this captured video, aswell as both Surface 1 1:53s for proof.

So I might go for 0:16

Pretty good for about one more hour of play. None were that close but one was 1:1 and had a pretty bad stuck. Also got 1:01 with bond invisible. Shows how much of a difference lag can really make.

I got two Caverns SA 1:23 completions at the mini meeting yesterday at Eises (total count maybe 4-5) so if I sit down for a longer session and maybe use faster strats too then this should be a definite 1-2 sec PR imporvement for me eventually.

3rd one was low and gotten like 3 minutes after the 2nd one. Surprised Marc's strat actually worked on both runs. :P Not sure if I'll seriously play for 3:57 since it's a pretty annoying level though.

Edit - Hmm after watching #3 again I'm not sure why it wasn't 3:57.. sounded like a 3:57 start and had a flat 17 exit. Crate area and the part till glass wasn't really good though.
